[Explanation needed] How did Naruto survived Sasuke's fire style jutsu?

Skip to 19:00 of the video and see Sasuke nailing Naruto with his fire style jutsu. It seems to burn to for time before Naruto was able jump out of the fire and attack Sasuke.

Under normal circumstances, any shinobi will die.

I am pretty sure its plot-no-jutsu. But if it's not, can anyone explain?
