I think Arashi Uzumaki was what Kishimoto originally planned the 4th Hokage's name to be, but he changed his mind and made it Minato Namikaze later.

A bit farfetched Derp, as by right, Minato should have preceded Jiriaya and Naruto as he also had that contract. There's really no proof that the Sage did also and even if, his portion would be preceding Minato's making it 4 Signature's and not 3.
