Comparing Characters

Everyone loves to compare their favorite characters with another character to get across why one is better than the other. Now this is perfectly fine when comparing two characters such as Naruto and Sasuke (even though its annoying how many people feel the need to make a thread about it) since both characters have shown a lot of their abilities which allows us to actually make a comparison.
However, it's ridiculous to compare two characters we really haven't seen much of or to compare a character that we've seen showcase his abilities with a character who hasn't (such as minato vs itachi). It does not make anyone look intelligent when people start to argue over who is better between Tobirama and Sasuke.

All I'm saying is that comparing two characters we have lots of information on is fine, but would it kill people to wait to see the full abilities of characters such as Minato, Tobirama, and Hiruzen, before comparing them with others?

I know but it was bugging me so much that I had to make it when I saw someone make a "minato stomps Itachi" thread.

Agreed but we can't stop everyone who does this
Though there r certain ppl we haven't seen a lot from tht we can infer who would win

Example ill use sasuke we seen a shit load from him and what he can do
But then ill put him against mu who we've seen some but not all his jutsu (but we do know everything onooki has he got from mu

But we can infer (some might disagree its just my opinion) tht mu would win

Sometimes u can just know who would win even tho u don't have all the intel on the person u still know enough to actually debate against another person's character

Also who ever says tobirama > sasuke I fail to c how tobirama breaks sasuke Susanno ..-/- I mean please enlighten me on how he beats sasuke (and I'm a sasuke hater so for me to take his side is huge step lml..)

Agreed. they are both incredibly strong.

and I know you can infer that some characters can beat another without seeing everything. but to do that, whatever we've seen from that character has to be something that proves this character is above the other
