[Discussion] Omg i hate bees, wasp, hornets etc.

So I had to go to Charlotte because my parents were both out of town and I'm staying with relatives. Everyone is gone they have a great outdoor basketball hoop but every time I try to shoot some be or wasp happens to be near the backboard and charges. I've never been stung and have no future plans to. It just seems like I can't do anything outside to not provoke some flying insect with a stinger, trampoline NOPE, basketball NOPE. Bees do play a important part in nature but do bees and their other friends have to be so annoying. It feels perfect outside. Have any advice for what I should do?

From personal experience strong smells like bug spray just piss them off.

Them bees, pure evil. Guys, where is the WORST place you've been stung by a bee? For me (use your imaginations) I was licking a nice, cold ice cream, I dont see that a wasp has gone into the ice cream, I lick it, and It stings me on my tounge :'(

I've never been stung myself, which I consider me being really lucky as a friend of mine was once stung trice in a matter of less than five minutes(I was right beside him)!XD

I don't know if it's where you are(in the world, in your country etc.) which is the real problem as opposed to where the activities you wish to perform are relative to bee/wasp/hornet activity, or if it's what you're doing in their presence.
What I can say though, is to not get too close to their nests, be careful in general, and also, just because they get close doesn't necessarily mean they're going to sting, though I see all reasons to be cautious still

I was ones stung on my light shin... and it stung me so hard that the "bee sting" turned it to a permanent scar... (so i have a small sircular scar, something like 6mm on the bottom half of my right shin...)

Bees sting when their provoked wasps don't even need a reason to sting you. You could be sitting still and a wasp will spot you and charge just because your in the same proximity. The worst part is they don't die after they sting you, they just keep coming at you relentlessly until they get tired or find something else to do (or someone else to sting).

No, but I was once chased by this Nazi bee!! It was at the beach when I was like 9 or something. I had to run in circles. I was so scared :|

I was once stung on the earlobe. It swelled up like hell xD And two years ago, and decided to sit on the pillow that I was resting my head on. So once I laid my head back down, it stung me I punched at the pillow a few times. Then like an hour later, I heard this buzzing noise in my ear again. It wasn't dead! I panicked, got up, punched the pillow multiple times while screaming like a girl

But damn, getting stung on the tongue.... That's gotta SUCK!
