The extent of Madara's BEING is not equal to the extent of Hashirama's. Hashirama's limits are higher than Madara's so Madara brought Kurama. He lacked the power to maintain control of kurama and got outsmarted. Do I have to post proof I'd rather not...but I will if someone argues these manga facts.
