In my case it definitely did. I had been looking forward to this brand new series for over a year (maybe 2). I was expecting something amazing, brilliant, mind-blowing! Something that could even surpass ATLA's level! But no. And instead what do we get? A story about a pointless love-triangle. About 70% of it was focused on developing Korra and Mako's feelings for each other which in my honest opinion felt way too rushed, way too sudden, way too forced, etc, etc.

So I'm curious about hearing your opinions. Do you agree with me or do you think that the other 30% of great story-telling actually made up for the disappointment? And are you looking forward to Season 2?

In terms of a predecessor to ATLA, yes. Problems I had with it:

- Production felt rushed at times, even though they had a long time to work on this.
- Shipping being dragged all the way to the season finale.
- Korra magically learning Airbending through desperation.

That was a big problem for me to. Ang had to train and work hard for it, while she just wished for it and it came
