[Theory] Obito's Kamui Incomplete

So I was comparing Obito's use of Kamui and Kakashi's, when I realize they're a bit different. Of course Obito's is much better in comparison, considering he doesn't seem to suffer any backlash from using it and he can make his entire body 'transparent'.

This ability to make himself 'transparent' doesn't require any effort, as seen when Rin died and his hand went straight through her without him realizing it beforehand. He can also teleport himself with his Kamui and absorb things without exerting himself. No doubt this is probably because he is an Uchiha and can use his Kamui more efficiently than Kakashi.

However, the one thing we haven't seen Obito do with his Kamui is absorb things into the dimension from a distance, which Kakashi has shown to be able to do from since the first arc of Shippuden. Obito always has to hold the target or be in close range with them before he absorbs them.

If Obito did indeed have the power to absorb things from a distance like Kakashi, it's no doubt he would have done it with Naruto/Bee. This leads me to believe that Obito's Kamui is incomplete, since he only has one eye, and Kakashi has the other.

And if this is the case, why hasn't Obito tried to get his eye back? He had the opportunity to after Rin died and Kakashi was unconscious. He also could have tried fighting him later on to get his eye back but he didn't...

What are your thoughts on this?

Dude lol. The whole point is that each eye has a different power. Kakashi has the range, Obito has his close range form

each eyes has different traits to it... its not that obito's is incomplete its just his eye is the one used for close range... has u ever seen kakashi use close range distances like by touching the oponent ... no?

also obito has no backlash because of sanju DNA

he reason behind why Kakashi can absorb from a distance and Obito cant is that Obitos left and right eyes were slightly different. When Obito gave Kakashi his left eye Kakashi got the distance abilitly while Obito retained the phasing technique. And I thiback then Obito still had some feelings for Kakashi and he was to focused on escaping back to MMadara to take the eye bacc. Pus he cantimplant it himself that I know of.

Yeah but Kakashi was able to teleport himself to and from the dimension, which means he can use it close range as well.

Yes but it puts a lot of strain on him and really drains his chackra.

in danzo and sasuke fight, obito was trying to absorb the attack from danzo from a very far. that means he can do it from long distance also like kakashi does!!

Well it's obvious that you do not find 2 similar sharingans in one person. The MS always brings 2 abilities, although they may seem to be a lot a like, they usually never are!!!

On the surface Obito's and Kakashi's Kamui seem a lot alike, same goes for Danzo's KA and Itachi's KA, however, when analyzing each technique more deeper, they are actually nothing alike. Although more similar than Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, but not much! So I don't think Obito's Kamui is incompletely, he just doesn't have the other. h:



The latter question is simple. Obito didn't take his eye from Kakashi, because he simply had no medical knowledge about it. Taking out an eye is rather complicated, so he simply couldn't do so at the time.

And going for his eye later was not part of Madara's orders. It never mattered to Obito, whether, he had his eye or not. For Obito only one thing was important, and that was to make Nagato his ally, and then start gathering the 9 beasts to start the Moon's eye plan.

The only miscalculation in Obito's plan was Naruto. First he made Nagato change his mind. Then he befriended Kurama, and proved himself strong enough to fight on equal terms with Obito's 6 paths in the war.

He never needed his eye, because he (and Madara included) never knew, it was possible to become a perfect jinchuriki, and that the "beasts" are like people with personalities and feelings.

Probably still had some feelings for Kakashi that time because he was still young so he left the eye with him or he could have just forgotton in the heat of the moment with Rin's death.

There are other things to take note beside Kamui:
Obito both eyes were belong to him, as being the original Uchiha Blood Line.
To understand further, need to understand just one issue.
Why did Sasuke need Itachi eyes - because Itachi eyes power.
Same as Madara using his brother eyes.
To conclude, each member of Uchiha Clan had different and unique Sharingan eyes
Kakashi left Sharingan eye was given by Obito as a present for Kakashi promotion.

Kamui jutsu.
Left and Right eyes had it difference.
Kakashi left sharingan eye was activated by Obito.
When Minato fighting with Obito, he also said that space-time jutsu.
One issue to note:
Obito Kamui was almost exactly like Minato FTG. Travel from one location to another, almost immediately.
Obito could disappear in the air and into the ground.
Obito did not just use Kamui, but he had the capacity to mix with other jutsu whatever.
Obito had Hashirama's DNA.
And Madara could had taught him most of his jutsu to Obito - just to made everyone believe he was Madara.
This would made Obito strong enough to handle...
