If you look at their life story, you would see that most ninjas you mentioned would make the manga boring...

They can only go so far into making the story interesting, but it wouldn't be interesting enough to make a great story for the manga...

EDIT: And Itachi could make a great main character, but his story would be all dark and eventually he would fail in the end. A main character is suppose to succeed...

Uh...if they were the MAIN CHARACTERS, they'd be the ones featured in most of the stories, so naturally their involvement and interactions in the said stories would be far deeper and interesting, cause, they're all more intersting and have richer background than naruto

Yeah yall some haters bee rapping is part of what makes bee so cool. And sasuke as much as i like him he is but isn't main character he's more like guess star with a recurring role, bee has way more screen time since he's been apart of the show.

Kirabi isn't an idiot, he acts carefree and foolishly because he had the toughest childhood in the series and that was his defensive mechanism in order to adapt to his hostile enviroment and not let the hate and despair creep and plague his heart.

He's shown to be quite intelligen, wise and perceptive about his enviroment. He taught Naruto the bijuu control, remember?
