Yes I did, I was talking about in real life not the manga. Amaterasu being black one would think its hotter then normal fire techs, also them being Uchihas (fire experts) one would say the black flames would be got enough to melt the sand or make it glass....also sand melts @ 3,000 degrees nice try tho

It is instant, it appears where ever the user sets his sights on, it doesnt come out of the eyes like a stream of fire like Katon does from the mouth does it? Only reason Railage could dodge it is because his reaction was fast enough to tell that Sasuke was about to use it so he could move. Only reason Sasuke dodged it was because Itachi didnt want to hit him just force him to run out of chakra.

Ok it's not instant but its not a beam of fire the fire simply appears where the user is looking. To do this chakra is compresses on a location giving those with dojutsu (see chakra), sensing abilities (sense chakra), or speed (move out of the way upon seeing it). Those are my thoughts on the matter, but its not overrated it is very fast and the way it forms gives it almost instant stats, and it burns for days. As for the garra sand I don't agree...yes sand can be used to put out fire but fire can melt sand as well soooo? W/e on that.

Exactly it requires like a second of build up which gives away to fast opponents that the user will use Amaterasu but when they so use it its an instant hit.

it's instant coz it appear from mangekyo eyes? i had tought this kind of threats are unnecessary coz in manga amaterasu have been used numerous times and should be clear to everyone that it ein't instant, instant means subspace, teleport light speed...

not instant but extremely fast, and more chakra you put behind it stronger and hotter the flames.. and lot's of upsides : range it's critical if close about no one beside bm naruto is able to dodge it, longer the range flames be that's much bigger, it's fuuin jutsu too in a sense edo's go away. and while contact it made it's impossible to survive (direct hit) ok ok.. tobi survived with izanagi danzo countered with izanagi, and shinra tensei do job too,

is amaterasu strongest offence move ? depends.. is it in top 5 definitely

Its very fast but Not Instant,seeing as how Ay got into V2 speed without shunshin,a level KM dodged.Ay used V2 speed which is greatly below FTG,and FTG is Instant...
IF it were Instant,seeing as how Minato is always faster than Ay with FTG,Ay shouldn't have been able to dodge it!

Nah,it aint in the Manga,just calculated it from the Anime myself,I might be wrong...and why so serious?
But Someone stated it has second break,which isn't correct...BM is an example of a 1sec break,while FTG has less than a second break,so do the math!

I think more like 1 sec at best, but I and the others wasn't talking about the process of shooting it, but the act. If we do bring that into it then the ftg takes longer as the seal has to be placed, kunai has to be thrown...etc

It appears straight away where the user sets his sight so you're wrong it is like teleportation since it appears instantly and not like a stream of fire like a katon move. You're kinda right about the distance since its limitation is how far the eyes can see but again distance doesnt matter becauses its an instant hit.
