Prom and Luncheon Experience in Highschool

Most of you guys here are older than 18 or 18 like myself. What are your prom experiences and luncheon experiences. Were they bad? Good? Okay?

I go on Luncheon next Wednesday and my Prom is in June. What is your advice? What shouldn't I do?

I'm not serious about asking for advice. Just bored as hell. But how was your prom

Graduated from one of the top private schools in Washington DC, but my prom was pretty boring. The only interesting part of it was driving through Georgetown and stopping to take our pictures in the National Harbor. While we were stopped a Red Bull distributor pulled up and stocked our entire limo with Red Bull.

Don't ask a friend to prom or you ain't gona get sh!t...

After spending a lot of bred on prom, at least take someone that will make it worth it.

Idk about anyone else, but im 21 now and I can honestly say that prom (and anything highschool related for that matter) are a distant memory. Just have fun, dont take it seriously for a second, and try to enjoy the company of your friends because soon enough everyone goes their own way.

thats pretty weird to have prom in June, shouldn't you have graduated and such by then

Didn't go to my prom. Made the mistake a couple years later of getting involved with a girl in her senior year of highschool. Went to her prom - but the relationship between us was already going sour (for a number of reasons - she's not the only one to blame, there).

My dad died the night of her prom (found out about that the next morning) and when I hear any song that was playing at her prom, it triggers flashbacks.

I believe that qualifies as a bad experience.

I had my Banquet (my school's prom) and it was fine. Go with the girl you want to go with, if she's not already taken, obviously.

Went to dinner beforehand and got ice cream after, so those parts were good. But, my prom was outside in April. It was just above freezing. Still have no idea whose idea that was. U_U I got pictures taken, but every time I tried picking them up after prom, no one could find them. Plus, the music was shitty.

My prom wasn't the best experience. Luckily, my date and my friends made it somewhat redeemable.

Showed up to prom with my girlfriend and it was lame. Teachers were everywhere and they were playing these cheesy country love songs. Me and my friends bailed and started a party at my buddies house. Woke up on his moms tanning bed next to my girlfriend and at some point that night I guess I jumped into a lake in my suit. The smell of pond scum and *** is a very potent one indeed.

I figure that I can go ahead and take such risks.

I didn't like my prom. Bad music, and worse food. But what I did was had an after party at my place. Me and a couple friends went in on a limo had everybody picked up(so no one had to drive), and then dropped off at my place where the real party began.
Had great music, awesome food, fun games, (.... beer =D) Not condoning but we did and much more.
I would plan an after party that you and a few friends/dates can do immediately after the prom is over.

Wow... while not at all my line of partying - that's a pretty damned awesome story. "Huh... a lake... wait... where the hell did I find a lake?"
