This... I want normal news again.

I live 30 miles away and it's getting to the point to where some people are trying to call it another 9/11 and me telling people to just sthu. There will be worse things to cry over with how this world is looking.

I'm tired of seeing it on the news but this was nothing like 9/11. People actually kept their cools and helped one another. This event didn't strike terror in the people's of Boston's hearts so why is the media trying their damnest to inspire it in everyone else. It's sickening how they do this crap for ratings.

the news will jump at anything to make something that seems like regular news into extremely overly dramatic and the most important news in the universe. They just have little material to work with so they work with what everyone is talking about and rehash it over and over until people will get bored of hearing it. Just like every other incident. sandy hook for instance.

Although that incident was worse but you get it.

Wait what people are saying this was a second 9/11.... Lol what... It's sad and a tragedy but three people died in this country, much worse things can and probably will happen. Everybody should be hoping we don't go to a ww3 (worst case scenario)

Sorry but, I'm not in favor of ignoring it by simply moving on as best I can and obviously it needs to be dealt with so it doesn't happen again.

Finally someone who gets it. Im glad you put this thread up, people need to calm down and move on....of course not the families who lost their loved ones or the people who lost limbs.....Im more concerned about societies (news media) over-exaggeration on terrorism. If you were following the news closely it had posted that two primary suspects were a saudi and a black man, but then took it down because they had found no evidence at all, later posting that they are looking for clues leading to any other (race) suspects.
