[Theory] Tobirama's FTG should uses seals or takes more prep time than Minato's FTG.

I've seen a couple of threads last few days stating that Tobirama's FTG is probably better than Minato's, an assumption based off on the fact that Hashirama asked Tobirama to teleport them to the battlefield.

I, however, think that Minato's FTG is better than Tobirama's in any case. Reason?

Because for one thing, Minato states seeing Obito's Kamui that its better than second's and his own....(1)

We also know that the reason Minato said so was because Obito's did not need seals...(2)

Another thing we saw is that Obito's Kamui teleporting him to Minato's location was obviously not instantaneous as FTG teleporting Minato, from which its obvious that Minato S/T jutsu is more battle-oriented...(3)

From (1), (2) and (3) we can assess that (since Minato claimed that Obito's S/T jutsu which didn't use seals, but was not battle oriented, as better than his and second's. If Tobirama's FTG didn't require seals and needed less prep time than Kamui, then its obviously better than Kamui) either Tobirama's FTG required seals or some sort of beacon, or it required more prep time than Obito's Kamui.

Tobirama's jutsu was not for long range, as well as required quite some chakra to perform....& I dont even call it FTG, its just a S/T technique....
whereas minato's FTG uses seals due to which distance isnt a concern, & chakra usage is negligible.....
Also, Minato can perform tobirama's S/T tech as shown in latest manga chapter, where they teleport over their respective heads....

Hashirama asked Tobirama to teleport them to the battlefield.
Someone posted a viz translation on that particular part.
And from my understanding, it wasn't Hiraishin.
I'll have to read it again for confirmation, though.

EDIT:
A thread by Sir Derp Obito. The scans came from him as well. I do not own anything. lol
Post # 24, Tobirama's version was called the Flying Raijin.

EDIT: Sorry, I was just told that Raijin is Hirashin. :eww:

Wrong, they did not teleport to their heads. Then hashi and hiruzen would both have s/t. They simply jumped real fast to their heads. Idk how you could mix that up.

I think it was stated that Minato's FTG > Tobirama's FTG. Only tobi had better transportation abilities, i think Kakashi stated this during their mini battle against Tobi while sasuke was fighting itachi.
I don't remember Kakashi saying anything about Tobirama's FTG back then, though it was mentioned that Tobi's S/T ninjutsu was possibly better than Minato.

But, I doubt that would be the case either. While Kamui is indeed impressive and better in a theoretical sense, the more practical option for offense is FTG any day. (Not including 'warp away to another dimension' ability that comes with Kamui)

Wrong. Hashirama clearly asked Second to fly them to the battle field, to which Tobirama clearly answered that Hiraishin was not a viable option.

Its clear by now that Tobirama's S/T ninjutsu had similar uses as that of Minato, although it is not as convenient as Minato's.

yes, he did say its not viable, but then hashi asked oru (indirectly) to remove the bound....

read again.....minato taps his hand on hiruzen, & tobirama does the same to hashi, a clear indication of teleportation.......& they dont teleport directly on the head, but few feet above, which is why they seem to have jumped on those heads.
