you know what i can't understand is hwy 615 and the volume 64 doesn't make this cannon. i mean all the reviewers said it was, and the people not in the pairing wars got angry that kishi killed off neji just to make narhina canon.

Honestly, I don't think Kushina wanted Naruto to find someone who was her doppleganger. I'd like to have the opinion of a couple native Japanese speakers who could weigh in on the usage...

For example - in Spanish, if you say "I'm full" as a literal translation - it commonly is used to mean "I'm pregnant." There was also an advertising campaign done by an airline company: "Fly free!" - which had the cultural meaning of "fly naked."

Because of this - I'm curious if there was a cultural meaning we're missing out on.

Though - either way - I think the meaning is more along the lines of: "I want you to find someone who will love you and continue giving you the happiness you deserve." - Someone who wants to be a part of his life and who wants to support him.

How I interpret it, at least.

its silly people cant see the comparison between kushina and sakura. even if narusaku possibly dead, its obvious they are modeled after one another...i mean they coloring (hair similar color, sakura has green eyes, kushi dress is green, sakura wears red, kush hair is red) similar personality (both are tsundere types and seemingly hopeless romantics lol) they have the same word studder thing (dattebayo, dattebane, channaro(read that this was a special word thing to sakura only)). that alone makes them much more alike than hinata, who is sweet, shy, soft spoken, and wouldnt hit a fly little on her own son or lover. hinata isnt like minato either...so dont give me that crap lol. minato had the dream to become hokage, was soft spoken but not shy with the dream to become hokage, genius at a young age, trained by a sannin. The only possible similarities between hina and minakush is that hinata has long hair like kushina and she stalked naruto like minato was seeing following kushina.

This is what i have seen, sakura being like kushina doesnt necessarily mean narusaku should happen; im just saying that idc what people say hinata isnt like either of those characters. im a sakura fan but idk where kishi is going with this pairing stuff after the latest chapters and the latest movie (which he did write, so it holds more value than anime but not the value the manga has). We just need to wait and see what happens because ill admit..i dont wanna be trolled just like a naruhina fan mentioned earlier.

It's pretty obvious that sakura only see's Naruto as a friend. She has always been aware of his feelings for her...yet the best thing she could do was try and manipulate those feelings in the most inconsiderate way possible.
