I heard you never die in your dreams. Because if you die in your dreams than you've actually died IRL. That's why you always wake up before death. Happened to me many times so that's why I believe it.

yeah that happened to me couple of times. once i was stabbed in my back by golem LOL then suddenly i woke up. that was a freaky dream .

well i heard that if u die in ur dream that means u have a long life-span , but I'm not sure if this is correct
