How did Karin joined Orochimaru?

I knew it was somewhere around the chunin exams but what really motivated her to join Orochimaru?

Usually, Orochimaru will give his prized assets a cursed mark as a sign of trust and power up, so why didnt he give one to Uzumaki Karin?

And if Orochimaru is really serious about learning all the jutsu and controlling the sharingan, he should have followed the following steps:

1. Get kid Sasuke (done)
2. Get kid Karin (done)
3. Body transfer with Karin (To get the large chakra to use the sharingan effectively)
4. Transfer Sasuke's eyes to himself (Using Karin's body)
5. Dominate the world.

Orochimaru would of recruited here since she is very powerful being from the Uzumaki Clan.
He could of user her in many beneficial ways, also she could of been persuaded when her parent's may of been killed during the attack on the Hidden Eddy Village. (Just as Kimimaro was)
