I always hated the fact that (some) parents can't teach their child without hitting them.

It's awful to let your kid cry like that. Omg, like seriously.
We live in a cruel world. I wish I could hug the girl.

I agree with discipline to a certain degree, a spanking can set them straight, but if you punch or use extraordinary measures to physically abuse your child for no reason then i got a problem.

If she was my younger sister? I would collect valid evidence that this occured, then, not even a day later, show them to the police. If I'm not able to gather this evidence, then I'll tell the police anyways. No one, neither friends nor family, would be able to hurt someone close to me without getting me involved.

Spanking is Good. But must be done moderately and must hit the right Places, Butt and Hands.
Also depends on the offences of the Child.
Minor offences like not eating their food, not sharing their things..etch..Verbal Warnings are sufficient enough.

WHat grounding and times out do......
" Go to time out tommy!"
" F*ck you mom"
Most of the timeouts and groundings do do anything but teach the kid, oh if i do something wrong ill just have my tv taken away for an hour no biggie. My mom use to whoop me as a child and it only taught me dont do that sh*t again. I mean i see if she was beating her with chords,lamps, brooms or even her fist then thats child abuse.Kids have been disciplined for centuries like that and 99% grew up just fine.

1% of them and that's like millions of people in this world, have NOT!
Child abuse is what I'm calling this. You can't just simply say that things would be alright after whooping your children.
They deserve love, but as long as they are not getting that, the worse they become.
Which leads them to grow up as bullies and being in a gang .. This has consequences to the other children and their behavior!

Because You grew up in Europe. Try to open Your eyes My dear.How Old are you?
I received a heavy Spanking from my Mom, when I was Younger, But I didn't lose my respect for her.
I never thought My mom abused her authority towards me and my other siblings.

But she never Say Hurtful things to us, Like I don't Love you etch..
and She was giving us proper Warnings, It was us who were stubborn not to listen to her teachings.
