Why I think Naruto is the perfect main character.

He's the 2nd coming of Jiraiya, if only he was more perverted and funny.

Comrade, he is still only 16 so why should he be already a pervert Lol? Btw, he was already peeking at girls and stuff (in the manga he tried it too with Sakura hehe) hahaha (Road to Ninja was hilarious btw) so he is a true student from Jiraiya =D and he is still funny, but sometimes little bit childless wich is normal since he is still a kid.

Naruto's a good main character. Can be whiny at times, but that's what makes him stronger. He is a little OP at times if you ask me though.

The Taijutsu fight with Pain was awesome.

He uses tactics in his fights. He doesn't just run towards the opponent with rasengan and hope it hits.

Naruto's like Goku or Luffy all three of them are shown to be dumb, however they are very smart in other areas.

Naruto trained as hard as Lee did (others trained hard too, but don't come even close to these 2), both have my respect for that(Lee is one of my favorite characters too). Don't ignore the fact Naruto worked incredibly hard for most of his powers. He kept going on.

And what only 2 powers? Do we read the same manga?

No my friend he did not train as hard as Lee did and that's a fact. The hardest training Naruto did was sage mode everything else wasn't very hard. I said 3 jutsu's not 2 shadow clones, rasengan, rasenshuriken, and I guess toad summon so 4 jutsu.

Characters like who? You should consider the storyline of the manga and which character is placed in which situation and then you will see that not many are suitable for the main character title...

Being main character isn't just about being strong. Naruto actually affected the lives of other people and thus causing a ripple effect. Like Garaa...

He changed Garaa and Garaa changed Onoki. Garaa also gave a speech that changed the shinobi alliance before they went to war. If Naruto didn't change Garaa, that would've never happened...

You see what I mean?

lol, Naruto's whole first 13 years was all HARD TRAINING. No one was there to teach him stuff, so he was training 'in life' wich is the hardest training there is. And after it he trained very hard too, with Kakashi, 2 years with Jiraiya, then again with Kakashi, Sage Mode, with Killer Bee... This ALL WHILE FIGHTING in an up-coming war.

His whole 'Kyuubi thing' was a training too, for 16 (!!!) years.

Lee always had a master, from his 6th. He trained like a beast too tho.

Conclusion: Naruto and Lee are both amazing hard workers. Props!
