He controlled the 2nd back in part 1, why couldn't he control them? He just don't need to make them fight right now since they need to answer Sasuke's question first. He's actually controlling them, they are under his command.

I give you a few examples how fights with Itachi end
1. Totsuka blade = dead
2. Tsukyomi = Mental error no more moving = dead
3. Amaterasu = eternal chase of never estinguishable flames = dead

If you guys are putting Edo Hokages you should also put Edo Itachi(one of the strongest and smartest character without his downsides, Blindness and Sickness), he would destroy any Edo Hokage, besides Hashi maybe, he also has the best sealing method out of all of them.

Hmm, I have to with Minato for his unseen abilities =) I really we've only seen FTG, Rasengan, RDS, and Naruto's special seal for the Kyuubi, and summons (swear I'm missing one). I mean imagine him being a sage, Jiraiya and Naruto are both sages and they are the only one's who can summon gamabunta besides Minato =D *cross fingers* other than that I love Pervy-Sage. He's just....awesome =) also toads are a pretty awesome super power =P
