haha yeah you are the biggest debater i see.. but your theory kinda has flaw in it.. im sorry
itachi want to protect the village bcoz he learn the secrets from uchiha temple.. it is said that he is the first uchihas that can break the curse of hatred (apparently the third, shisui and kagami both have the will of fire)..even when itachi is 7 yrs old he already hev a thinking that can match hokages..

just sayin.. hehe

its sort of about it being possible , but we've seen itachi and all the hokages make bad decisions and become hesitant in serious situations.
its more about me showing the plausible ways & reasons why and how it could happen..

at 7 years old, you don't expect to have to kill your parents 6 years later....itachi was hesitant during the whole events leading up to shisui's final moments with him, after that last meeting itachi was finally able to bring it upon himself to actually take action.
so have the knowledge and using this knowledge are two different things totally.
