What u wanted another 10 chapters trying to convince him of why the road he was going was the wrong one...A lot of people were getting tired of the flashbacks and Sasuke brooding over the same none sense...Besides the name of the manga isn't Sasuke shippuden it's Naruto..So lets go back to the action and stop babying a supporting character. Besides it would have been pointless if he went against all Itachi died doing to keep the village and his lil brother safe..

I'm pretty sure you thought Sasuke was a shitty character long before this. You kinda hate him lol. His character wasn't ruined at all. I mean he manned the hell up. He asked the questions that needed to be asked, searched for the truth, and made the right decision. He wasn't even talk no jutsu'd. He simply gathered the information he needed to make up his own mind. Some kind of force conversion into the Nardo cult would have truly ruined his character. Besides, it was a gradual change, he was been wavering ever since he met up with Itachi and made it clear the hogake's response would help him make up his mind. Nothing wrong with his character development at all.

Sasuke was finally told the truth. Why would he want to avenge his dead brother by destroying Konoha when his brother died becaue of his love for it? It would be dishonorable and he loved Itachi too much to betray his will.

I found it pretty stupid how easily he believed Obito and let hate cloud his judgement. But I agree it's about time Sasuke had some sense talked into him and finally became good again.
