I mean, after his brother died, he did act differently. I think he is just doing what his brother would want, which is who he wants to follow. Hearing Hashirama's story, and how a shinobi must endure just caused Sasuke to wake up and stop being erratic.

Sasuke was finally told the truth. Why would he want to avenge his dead brother by destroying Konoha when his brother died becaue of his love for it? It would be dishonorable and he loved Itachi too much to betray his will.

Never saw Sasuke be anyone's bitch, don't know where that one came from.

Anyway, Sasuke didn't remain evil after Edo Itachi's words. Itachi was the reason he wanted to go and hear the story of the Leaf and what a Shinobi truly was. So he was contemplating what he should do for a good while.

Sasuke's character hasn't been messed up at all in my opinion.
