Mine is itachi.... simply because i enjoyed his character.

1. Orochimaru: Sooo evil, he's the most fun character to watch imo. He knows almost everything worth knowing. He's damn near immortal, doesn't know how to die, even when facing more powerful Shinobi, he always has a smile on his face. Also, he's easily by far the best villain.

2. Kabuto: In his prime, he was a continuation of Orochimaru, was detestably the most powerful character, perfected Edo Tensei, showed us a new form of Sage Mode, had the world and Obito dancing in his palm, was what Orochimaru could have been and will possibly become.

3. Danzo. Imo, he is an unsung hero of Konoha. He did all the dirty work that had to be done, but he also wanted to become Hokage no matter what. He had personal ambitions. He's the most real Naruto character imo, and his flashback and death made me tear up.

Uchiha Sasuke. I couldn't care less about how powerful or not he is. For me, it's his characterization that is so human and real. I am an avid literature reader - a student of arts and literature as well - and Sasuke is one of the few characters that represent the pinnacle of human psychological exploration. He's the sole reason why I even sat through all these chapters. The manga is mostly rubbish anyway. Shonen cliches are for diaper shitting kids and it's character like Sasuke or others close to him that give it a semblance of verisimilitude.

Naruto - Killer Bee - Itachi

Naruto because he just never gives up and his actions are hilarious. I appreciate that he stands by his beliefs and promises. That fact that he pretty much always finds a way to come out on top is also likeable to me.

Killer Bee because he was the perfect jinchuuriki and he's hilarious with his rhymes even though sometimes they're corny. IMO he's one of the strongest in the entire series and stands by his beliefs as well. He's also a favorite of mine because Hip-Hop/Rap is my favorite genre of music and other than Naruto hip-hop doesn't really get shine in anime, as far as i have seen (could be wrong, i just haven't seen it)

Itachi because he was just a badass and bested Kakashi, who I previously hailed a badass. His techniques were among the coolest only being out done by space/time ninjutsu and a handful of others IMO. I liked the mysteriousness of his character, and finding out that he was actually good when it came down to it.

My favorite character is Sasuke. No, I'm not another over obsessed fanboy oggling his Onyx eyes. I love Sasuke because he endures my world. His darkness astounds me.....

I know Sakura is good at canceling genjutsu but she has'nt show any genjutsu feats, but I agree with the rest Sakura and Itachi are some of the greatest characters in Naruto.Personally I wish Sakura was'nt sidelined and that she got more development.

Excellent points! Too bad she didn't get the chance to shine with her genjutsu abilities. It was forgotten after part 1 ended.

Probably Naruto because of his incredibly fast learning abilities and his spunk. Itachi is up the list too because of his selflessness.
