Can the Uchiha's body handle the Rinnegan?

Everyone was wondering about Obito not using his Rinnegan in the battle against Naruto, Kakashi, Guy and Bee. Obviously he can use the Rinnegan if he has to use Rinne Tensei to revive Madara.And he was willing to use the human paths ability to read Yamato's mind to get information out of him. To me, it seems like the Rinnegan is designed for a Senju or an Uzumaki, as seen with Nagato. Not to say that an Uchiha couldn't use it, but it would be much more draining to their chakra. In my opinon, Madara is only able to use it because he has an Edo-Tensei body with Senju DNA.

So if Sasuke's last powerup was awakening the Rinnegan, how useful would it really be if he doesn't have enough chakra to effectivley use it? What do you guys think?

No.

Senju DNA is required for Rinnegan, so Senju DNA will already be on the person with the Rinnegan and it would be too much for anyone without it.

In Nagato's case, he was Uzumaki meaning he is a chakra tank, and in Obito's case it was that he had Senju DNA pre-Rinnegan.

All you need is Uchiha and Senju DNA. That's all you need. And Edo Tensei is not the reason Madara can use Rinnegan... I facepalmed when I read that.

Yeah, I was thinking something similar. Nagato was the perfect host for the Rinnegan due to his Uzumaki, and in turn Senju, lineage. Obito has barely used it, and the only paths he has used were the Human and Outer Paths. Madara is in a similar situation, he's only used the Preta, Deva, and Outer Paths.

EDIT: Oh yeah, if Sasuke awakened the Rinnegan somehow, I don't think it would be of much use to him. He's been using most of EMS techniques lately. Plus, it was hinted that the Rinnegan is only awakened when at the near-end of one's lifespan.

Well it could be more chakra taxing then normal sharingan, but id say its on same level as EMS.
So to answer ur question, sasuke will be fine with it.

Well it's kinda hard to tell seeing how he haven't seen a situation where a uchiha has had the rinnegan without senju DNA. It could be transplanted into another body and it worked fine for the 6 paths and jinchuuriki so why wouldn't it work on a uchiha without senju DNA ?

Why do ppl always say senju dna, when its supposed to be hashirama dna, I know he is a senju and all but I doubt ppl in the narutoverse would get any kind of power up getting dna from other senju instead of hashirama

However, an Uzumaki like Nagato, would be able to use it alot more efficiently in battle, rather than an Uchiha with Hashirama's Dna, like Obito. Kind of also proves your point of the Sage of the Six Paths being an Uzumaki
