many might be wondering as to how the infinite tsukuyomi works...what will actually happen when this jutsu is cast. Why the name 'infinite'? What will happen to the people in reality if they are stuck in this illusion forever? because in an illusionary world you don't get the essential things you need to survive in the real world..for e.g. food, water etc. Only the involuntary fucntions will continue like breathing, blood circulation etc...but basically you will be paralysed or be in a state of coma. but doesn't that mean that you'll die eventually? I would say there isn't any answer to this. Because in infinite tsukuyomi the smallest time gap in the real world is equivalent to INFINITE TIME in the illusionary world. So basically from this genjutsu a paradox is generated......you can relate it to the movie INCEPTION...where with increase in the dream levels the time gap increases for a particular time interval in the real world. 5 min in the real world gives an hour in the first dream level...and thus with increase in levels that time gets converted to years and decades. A similar concept works in the case of Infinite Tsukuyomi...the only difference is that it has one level and that level has infinite time. so time will never end in this world.....it is perhaps the most complex genjutsu that can ever exist because people cannot die here even if they want to.....
