I think we will get back to Naruto and Co very soon, and as I have mentioned many times in my posts, I would like to make this discussion. As far as the whole manga goes, I think I understand Kishi's depiction of Naruto's character in terms of behavior, Jutsu, and innate ability. I think Kishi gave some intel about Naruto in a very suggestive fashion to let the fans guess or interested in the manga. However, the more I read comments about Naruto, the more I feel like the fandom prefer to ignore Kishi's hints. So here, I will try to raise an issue about my understanding of Naruto's character. First, let start with two very important statements:
This statement is very important as it is relevant to trying to distinguish Naruto's power from Kyuubi's.
Now, let start the trail about Naruto with the following claims:
Claim 1: Kishi made clear that Naruto has two different personality: One to hide his loneliness and one to display his true self.
The goofy side is well-known, and I can show you Naruto painting the faces of the Hokage. However, Kishi showed also from the start that Naruto is someone who is very brilliant in terms of strategy, and can think and get things done when it is time for it. Check the following.
Naruto knew when to surprise Sasuke:
Naruto actually beat Sasuke in their very first confrontation:
These show the line between the two behavior of Naruto.
Claim 2: Naruto's was born with instant regeneration ability!
Well, I think so. I also think that those who will oppose this argument will certainly have a point since Naruto was given Kyuubi from the start. However, I will give my line of reasoning:
Fact 1: Naruto healed from the demon brother attack in his base mode (no comm with Kyuubi):
As you can see, Kakashi is speculating about the source of the instant healing. Later, we saw that actually, Kyuubi's power was not always active. This show that the regeneration ability is actually embedded in base Naruto's body.
Fact 2: Kyuubi's chakra has two effect on Naruto's body. When Kyuubi chakra is given to Naruto in a friendly manner, it enhance all Naruto's power including his regeneration ability (check statement 2). When Kyuubi overtake Naruto's body, his chakra compete with Naruto's and result in actually destroying Naruto's skin. These two aspects are contradictory. Killer Bee have the second aspect but he does not have the first. This let me to believe that the first, which is much Senju-like is due to Naruto himself. For more detail, activate the spoilers:

evidence 2: The same chakra burnt Sasuke's arms. As you can see it has the same effect as when Kyuubi take Naruto's body over. The same happened when Sakura got hit with a tail. You can also noticed that Sasuke and Sakura got healed soon or later with/without medic intervention while Naruto always regenerate instantly in a couple of second or minutes.

Fact 3: The main fact is Kabuto, when he claimed to have cut connection between Naruto and Kyuubi to make sure that Naruto dies. In my opinion, this was the confirmation by Kishi that Naruto has the same regeneration power as Hashirama. As Kabuto said, the connection between Naruto's heart and any other system was cut. However, Naruto healed himself, whcih means the power came from his cell. This also means that Naruto could reestablish the connection with his heart which brought light to the Kyuubi at last. In other translation, it say that Kabuto cut the connection so that Kyuubi's power is not able to be used by Naruto to heal himself.

Claim 3: Compatibility between Naruto and Hashirama.
This is a very thin argument as I am not the type of individual that believe in such think. However, here Kishi proved that Naruto and Hashi are compatible. While Nawaki and Dan died shortly after receiving the necklace, Naruto survived until Kyuubi broke it. This necklace was said by Yamato to resonate with Hashi's chakra alone for controlling tailed beast. While we don't know how Nawaki and Dan actually died because of the necklace, there is a matter to bring this piece of evidence. Apart from Naruto, TSunade is the only one to survive it, and we know she can also regenerate her body to some extent.
Conclusion:
I would love to continue, but I am tired. My point here is to show to those who think Naruto got everything from Kyuubi are wrong. The only thing Naruto got from Kyuubi is the large pool of ready to use chakra. This is also legitimate in the sense that Naruto's chakra control was impaired due to Kyuubi. We saw for example recently that Naruto became a master of chakra control after becoming friend with Kurama. Thus, it is safe to say that the seal was the problem. I think that Kurama's chakra is naturally used by Naruto's system to accelerate his own powers, which are regeneration, Sensing, emotion sensing, and vision. I have seen some people saying that these are Kyuubi power, but they are obviously wrong. The reason is that:
(a) Naruto sense with his own senses - not Kyuubi's. In facts, he sense Kisame's emotion when Kyuubi was angry and promised him to kill him.
(b) Naruto's cell are the one multiplying at fast speed. Unlike Sakura, he can withstand the negative effect of Kyuubi.
(c) Kyuubi's chakra has no ears, no eyes, no nothing. It is just plain chakra, and if you use statement 2, you will see that Naruto is just using it to enhance his own feat. See for example that Raikage can speed by using a huge raiton. Similarly Naruto use Kyuubi chakra to speed up. Given that Naruto has himself a deadload of chakra, he can perform these Jutsu with his own chakra even if Kyuubi is absent. The only problem is that he will be exhausted faster than when he has Kyuubi.

Jiraya thought that Naruto will shorten his lifespan if he switch between cloak mode and base mode very often. However, I think that Jiraya was also under the same misconception as the fandom. He also thought that the recovery is done by Kyuubi while I think that the recovery is done by the Jinchuriki himself. The reason is that the Jinchuriki recover only when the chakra of the tailed beast is suppressed. Thus the tailed beast cannot be responsible of the recovery. This also mean that guys like KB can recover from minor skin burns.

The three spoiler above are crucial to understanding Naruto's power. Actually, Kyuubi's chakra is like a poison to a normal human being as Yamato explained, and as we have seen it scorching Naruto's skin. We aslo know that recently, the Kyuubi even stated that Naruto is the only one whose body can tolerate his chakra because he has been his Jinchuriki for long time and because he as Kushina's blood. Thus, I draw the only logical conclusion that actually, Kyuubi's chakra is a poison to anyone. However, Naruto's internal system as the power to filter that chakra and remove the poison. After removing that poison, it become a source of chakra that facilitate his regeneration in the same way Tsunade's store chakra regenerate her. Also, Notice tha Yamato have great knowledge about the beast as a substitute of Hashirama. From Yamato's advice to Naruto, anyone can see that actually, Naruto can suppress the Kyuubi at anytime, and he was the only one yielding to Kyuubi because he does not know his own power, which is normal because no one ever told him who he is. Naruto greatly changed only after meeting Yondaime during pain arc. If Naruto was to mold his own chakra and channel it on his wounds, he would regenerate himself because actually his chakra his stronger than Kyuubi while Kyuubi's chakra is plenty that Naruto's. Note that a Jinchuriki cannot suppress his beast if his chakra is not stronger than his beast's, but there is the effect of quantity that led the jinchuriki to lose to his beast after he crosses a certain amount of the beast's chakra.
