After first identifying that this was a genjutsu, either with my sharingan or by remembering that I'm not made out of paper and there seems to have been no fire jutsu to set me alight, since I can not use hand seals a full body surge of chakra from Nagashi or a Kai from a clone who's noticed I'm standing still and not appearing alert.

(Genjutsu: Koukon Karasu) – Illusionary Technique: Dusk Crow

This jutsu I would recognise easier if the terrain is something foreign to crow, such as a barren desert or frozen wasteland, I would then think through if I'd seen any crows in the area or even notice that I wasn't being harmed by the crows. Using Kai or even Nagashi as a panic to release/kill the crows would suffice.

(Magen: Ketataumo ) Demonic Illusion: Piercing Feathers

After felling the pain of the feathers I would be inclined to believe it was a genjutsu, unless I saw a flying summon or some other kind of bird on the field. Other wise, the fact that I can't move would be another give-away especially if I haven't been touched by anyone (removing the possibility of a someone tagging me or sapping chakra from me). To release the gen I'd have to either by released by a clone, that I could call over to me or simply use Chidori Nagashi.

for every single one of these you would of lost due to technicallities..... "unable to reason why it's a genjutsu"

~___~ again!
I may not be cut out for genjutsu T_T

(Magen: Nenshou Kamihada ) Demonic Illusion: Burning Paper Body
Recognising this as a genjutsu... After I get trapped in the genjutsu, I'd end up trying to continue with whatever move I had planned only to discover I'm all flimsy. Looking down at myself, I would see that I am paper thin and that I can't seem to hold by hands or fingers rigid. From there I would have to wonder how I could have found myself looking and feeling like this. Realising that the only contact I had prior to the genjutsu was me looking at the Uchiha directly in the eye, while also knowing that the Sharingan is known for it's genjutsu abilities, I could use that to determine my paper-like appearance is due to a genjutsu.

(Genjutsu: Koukon Karasu) – Illusionary Technique: Dusk Crow
I guess the only way to determine this is a genjutsu is to somehow work out the crows are not real. As a natural reaction, I'd most likely use a kunai to try and slash and kill however many crows I can manage to kill. It is through this action, that I'd not no change in the numbers of the crows and that my kunai is actually passing right through them. It is this information that would lead me to believe that the crows are not real, thus meaning that it is some sort of illusion/genjutsu, which I could then use any of the release methods to free myself.

(Magen: Ketataumo ) Demonic Illusion: Piercing Feathers
The only way I could think of working this out to be a genjutsu, is the plain fact that the black feathers simply appear out of no-where. From there I could work out, that since they were not fired at me from some jutsu or person, that they are actually a part of an illusion. Also, since I am also immobilised by the feathers that are painfully stabbing me, I could also wager that they are not normal feathers and may just be a part of the genjutsu.

Best I can do .__.

I think the genjutsu causes the opponent to become paralysed, after they look at the pointing finger of the user. At the same time they are paralysed, the rest of the genjutsu simulated the mental damage of being hit by the multiply kunai. The gen then further develops by further reaching into the target's mind to pull out images and the voices of their friends that are heavily insulting and bullying them, inflicting emotional stress on the target. The simulated physical pain and the emotional pain is enough to deal decent damage to the target, meanwhile, the caster has an opening to leave or attack.

Basically told me what the description says...... tell me, how do you deduce this is a genjutsu??

Sorry for the absence.

A point in the jutsu that would raise my suspicion would be the birds. Not that they fly at me, it's the point where they turn into kunai and continue to fly at me, stabbing me without me having any ability to stop them. This would clue me into the fact that something is not quite right. After the appearance of my friends all around me, I'd realise that they, for starters, weren't on the field with me before my opponent pointed at me. Also, my friends insulting me would also tell me that someone is messing with me, giving me the final piece of the puzzle to work out this is a genjutsu.

I could then release it using Kai, or by getting a clone to use Kai that I created before being trapped in the Gen (assuming he was also not in the gen).

Alright, sorry for the delay, i have been killing myself with work lately

(Doujutsu: Chuubo no Yuuku) – Eye Technique: Paralyzing Fear
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will cast a Genjutsu upon the target in which they will see a shadowy figure appear infront of them bearing the Sharingan and then the figure will grow to an enormous size over shadowing the target in pitch-black darkness. The figure will then grab hold of the target and then will cover them in black threads, leaving them paralyzed for a period of time. (This was shown by sasuke against Shi)
Note: Must have tomoe 3 to use and paralyzing effects last 1 turn.

Basically you perform the genjutsu so that they see a visual illusion of a shadow that covers them in darkness and threads being used to paralyze the opponent. Now try this on my clone.

Understandable, you don't have to feel rushed to reply to my training xD

*With my sharingan activated, I look your clone straight in the eyes, sending my chakra down the optic nerves and straight into the brain. I use my chakra to make a shadowy figure appear from out of your clones peripheral vision, moving around to stand in front of him where it will then stare your clone directly in the eye with it's own sharingan, the only facial feature you clone can distinguish. I then make it appear as if the shadow grows immensely, blocking out all light your clone can see as black threads appear to wrap around your clone as my chakra then stops your clones brain from sending out signals for the body to move. With this, you clone is now unable to move and can see nothing but darkness around him.*

Does this need direct contact with the sharingan eye?

There eyes with your eyes? No. you are leasing your chakra through the sharingan. Remember the sharingan techniques/genjutsu's are stronger than regular techniques

Do you know the difference?

So this one doesn't need eye contact then?

All I know is that sharingan jutsu tend to involve the release of the chakra through the sharingan, making there activation much quicker than normal genjutsu.

True, but there are more aspect of it.

Regular genjutsu is release through triggers, meaning hand seals, body movements, releasing chakra through any portion of body and traveling towards the opponent [you can not see this] and placing the chakra inside the opponent regulating chakra flow. Thats why spike of the chakra is needed when trying to break it. Now, the important part and which you might already know is that the regular genjutsu only gives off illusion and fools the opponent into believing what is happening to them is real, but in reality it's not. However, even if you fool the opponent you can not control what the opponent is going to do. For example, a visual illusion of regular genjutsu. Is only that, if the illusion is they see a monster, they will see a monster and nothing more. How they react is completely up to them and you have no control. They could do something that you don't expect to do and it's okay and within the rules. However you can predict what they might do in that case by thinking what you would do.

Sharingan genjutsu is different because not only you place a visual illusion, you can control their mind as in reaction. Not total control and move their arms or something like that. However controling their thought process constantly. Like using tsukuyomi on someone is devastating because the illusion is not just effecting sense's, but also control how they react, thats why it's harder to get out of.

Any questions?

Ah, makes sense. Sharingan Gen allows the caster more control over the target, than what would normally be allowed if if were a normal Genjutsu.

Thanks. ^^
Okay, let's resume. Before I go into the technique I just want to let you know a lot of Sharingan illusions were polished. I believe this happened last year. Most, if not all, of what Vision taught you is probably still valid since the techniques themselves didn't change. But if you have any new questions about those, we can go back and take a look.

Normally I'd break up the illusions into ones that require eye contact and ones that don't. But I don't see much of a point in that since there aren't many techniques left. So here's the first one we'll look at that doesn't require eye contact. This one is a simple paralyzing visual illusion. It is both easy to deduce and easy to break; but at least it leaves a cool visual tbh.

( Doujutsu: Chuubo no Yuuku ) – Eye Technique: Paralyzing Fear
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will cast a Genjutsu upon the target in which they will see a shadowy figure appear in front of them bearing the Sharingan and then, the figure will grow to an enormous size over shadowing the target in pitch-black darkness. The figure will then grab hold of the target and then will cover them in black threads, leaving them paralyzed for a period of time.
Note: Must have 3 Tomoe Sharingan to use and paralyzing effects last 1 turn.

Wow, I only now remembered that I like Sharingan Gen much more than the regular genjutsu techniques. xD

My only question: Despite not needing eye contact, I still need to have a clear line of sight to my target, correct?

Yeah. All Sharingan Genjutsu, at a minimum, require a line of sight with your target. This is the technique Sasuke used on B when they fought in Kumo. Pretty obvious illusion, but an instant paralysis technique is pretty useful.

( Doujutsu: Hazumi no Reikon ) - Eye Technique: Bound by Soul Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will cast a genjutsu that immobilizes the target. In the genjutsu, the target is bound to a leaf spinning around in the dark. This technique temporarily binds the target leaving them open to attack.
Note: Must have 3 Tomoe Sharingan and binding lasts 1 turn.

Alright, moving forward I'm going to group the remaining illusions by category. These final two are simply techniques which require a line of sight with your opponent. The first is quite straight forward and simple, but the second is relatively new and quite interesting. It is the Uchiha version of the regular Substitution illusion.

( Dōjutsu: Jigokuken ) - Eye Technique: Sword Hell
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Descrption: The user casts the illusion upon the opponent where the surroundings, similar to Tsukiyomi, go black and white and swords then begin levitating around the user and the opponent spinning around. The user then manipulates the swords to pierce the opponent's body. The initial attack causes mental damage and temporarily paralyzes the opponents body restricting their overall performance, preventing movement for one turn.
Note: Can only be used with 3 Tomoe Sharingan.
( Doujutsu: Chikan ) Eye Technique: Substitution
Type: Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: A simple technique, usable by Sharingan users through their prowess with illusionary arts, this genjutsu works solely as a defensive measure. The user will produce an illusionary copy of himself while he escapes the path/area of the attack with a rapid movement, unnoticed and masked by the technique. The enemy will see and hear the user in the original place until the attack connects with the illusionary copy, at which point it will disperse, revealing the true location of the user. The technique can be controlled so as to have the illusionary copy interact and talk in specific ways with the enemy for other purposes, while the user remains hidden from the targets perception. The illusion is often personalized from user to user, namely in its dispersion, sometimes in relation to the users elemental affinity or summoning companions, following a theme unique to him. The limitation is that the user cannot escape large techniques with this ability nor incredibly fast ones. Only techniques which can be escaped by moving out of their way running or through movement can be defended from with this. The main limit however, is that, since its a sustainable illusion, triggering any offensive action towards the target will immediately release the illusion, be it a simple taijutsu move or a ninjutsu attack; any aggressive action the user wants to take will immediately break his focus and control over the technique, releasing the target from it. The stronger the user is with Genjutsu, the easier the technique is to use.
Note: This version of the technique is used by Sharingan users
Note: Usable 6 times per match for Primary Genjutsu Specialists, without the need for eye contact; other Sharingan users can use it 3 times and require eye contact for Mid and Long range usage.
Note: Requires 3 Tomoe Sharingan active.
Note: Movement speed is bound by the users rank.
