Zetsu is a creation of Hashirama's DNA and Bijuu chakra. The Black Zetsu is simply Madara's DNA added to a part of Zetsu, meaning that black Zetsu is Madara's DNA and Bijuu chakra. if you look at the way Black and White Zetsu act, and compare it to the flashback between Hashirama and Madara as kids, you'll see similarities. Also, we've seen White Zetsu's growing out of the Gedo Mazo, which not only houses Bijuu but is also the Juubi itself, but we've also seen that when Yamato was taking into the Mazo, the White Zetsu grew stronger, further implying (if it was never said directly, though I think it has been) that they're Hashirama DNA. Then we've seen Madara hold out his hand, and send the black stuff making up Black Zetsu onto the side of White Zetsu, forming the ultimate form we simply call Zetsu.

Black Zetsu was created by Madara's Will so bassicly it is Madara's Clone !
White Zetsu was created by Hashirama's DNA so he is Hashirama's Clone !
