( NUNS3 ) Ever use sasori as a defensive support?

So im playing a ranked match, and I was playing someone I knew would pick some el cheapo team. So I pick deidara with sasori. Never used that team before.

Match starts and when I finaly got my support gauge up, you know the one that enables them to block or attack for you, my opponent was almost never able to dash at me. Sasori blocks EVERYTHING!!!

I cant stress that enough....his puppets will protect every single chakra dash that will come your way..
It is better for him because, usually if you have a defensive support, they get knocked down and you have to wait a few second. With sasori, his puppets get knocked down, but not him. so he is able to quickly block for you as many times as you need.

Sorry if this is old news or not...but shoot ive played tons of games, and im just now finding out about how awesome sasori is an a defensive support.

NOw I haven tested if its only effective with deidara, but ill keep you posted. Or someone can comment and tell me if they have the answer to that.

You should try and use chiyo or Kankuro for defense, they have two puppets to defend with, it's even harder to get rushed then when you have them as defense support.

I'll have to try this, it's a shame Sasori hasn't got the best support jutsu- i'd love to use him more often.

that is definitely the only drawback. Support wise, he isn't that useful, you have to really have a good knowledge of the game to know how to use him. but once that support drive activates.....oh man

I have a Pain preset with Tobi(Balance) and Sasori(Guard) it's a very cheap team for obvious reasons :snick: Just make sure not to move around too much or the opponent will dash past him.

I have to see if it works with Chiyo too, Chiyo is great as a support as long as she doesn't get knocked down.

i cant stand pain in any of the games so that would get to me :/
