Hey everyone! Trig here. I'm curious as to what people think of Hiruzen in his prime. Do you think he can beat originating 1 on 1? Do you also think he can beat the 1st and 2nd 1 on 1? I honestly believe so. Well I believe that anyone can be defeated. So what do you think? I don't think they call him the god of shinobi for nothing. The reason I ask is because I saw some clips of him fighting and he actually is really boss! I think his age and the fact that naruto was just starting when he was introduced downplayed his skills somewhat? So again what do you guys think?

But seriously dude, your question is obvious (as I stated above) it just needs five mins
to think about it, especially if you're up-to-date with the manga. Hiruzen is probably not
the strongest shinobi we've seen so far (perhaps maybe so6p, but I doubt that too..).

I agree that Hiruzen would be = to Oonoki in his prime
His abilities are vastly unknown and the possibilities are endless, but he has been retconned mangawise to the point that we have to assume that Hashirama destroys him

Prime hiruzen hasnt been shown. He was said to be the strongest hokage. Meaning he has a lot more to show. People keep sating hashi shits on him bcos we have seen much from hashi's powers and none from hiruzen,if hiruzen was the one one showing off the power,it would be the other way around. For now,we cant make a judgement,we have to see what prime hiruzen could do

At hiruzen's old age he was still hailed as being stronger than onoki and 3rd raikge. So hiruzen in his prime was far stronger than any kage from any other village.

No. We can't judge this...Everything we've been told about in Part 1 has been contradicted in Shippuden...We can't judge this right now. but yeah he obviously must of been strong, his monkey summon said to him look how weak he has become. Yet orochimaru just about beat him on very high diff.
