Does Kiba legitimately wanna become hokage?

He said it during the war arc too. Something like "If I do good enough they'll make me hokage" or something along those lines. Hana chastised him for taking war too lightly right after.

Idk if it's legitimate or not. He sounded pretty serious during the chuunin exams

I think that Kiba considers Naruto his rival now. I think it's kinda sad cuz Naruto still is only focused on Sasuke and The whole war thing.
I thought it was just a taunt too, but then i saw him say it during the war and was like "Woah, was he serious?"

Naruto and Kiba are pretty similar in character besides the fact that Kiba never experienced the losses that made him mature. It makes sense that he has a similar goal to Naruto, but even as one of his fans I know he will never get there. Kishi treats him more as a comedy piece instead of developing him. Thats why he will never be Hokage, because the development is not there to make his goal believable. That and the fact he will lose out to the main character since they share the same goal.

A-B-C logic doesn't work in Naruto. Saying that Shino would win because Kankuro beat Sakon-Ukon means nothing. Kankuro won after sakon-ukon were already weakened from the fight with Kiba. Shino tied at best Kankuro (kankuro would have survived but shino would have died from the poison). At best your logic means that Shikamaru isn't as strong as Temari since Temari beat tayuya and not Shikamaru. That doesn't work obviously since we all know that Shika beat temari in the chuunin exam.

Anyway IMO kiba would beat shino. Sure shino is clever but Kiba knows shino's tricks and battle strategy. without shino's bugs he has nothing to fall back on. He isn't as good at taijutsu so in close quarters he's screwed. The bugs aren't a huge problem considering that fang-over-fang would probably kill then on impact, whilst wolf fang would without question. That and the fact most of Kiba's techniques aren't chakra based (i.e. they are primarily taijutsu based). Add in the fact its 2 vs 1 and that Shino has no real counter to Wolf-fang I give this one to Kiba.
