[Question] Are the Admirals a higher rank than the Warlords?

Just wondering cause there are 7 seven warlords but only 3 admirals and they seem VERY strong!

Hmm, not sure. Doflamingo is the big bad boss in this arc and if he's admiral level he'd still crush M3+Law at mid difficulty at best. So I think it's logical if he's below admiral level. Maybe, maybe not. We'll have to see him in the upcoming chapters.

Yes, the Admirals are above the Warlords. The only Warlords that plausibly compare are Mihawk, Doflamingo, Kuma, and MAYBEE Crocodile.

Don't forget about kuma...he's boss!!! I'd say some warlords are above vice admirals and some are admiral lvl example Mihawk and Kuma!!

Hard to say, being that the Warlords differ in strength. Just like how Hashirama destroys his fellow Hokages, Mihawk destroys the other Warlords. Kuma and Doflamingo are beasts, as well, just not as OP as Mihawk.
As for the Admirals, they all within the same power-scale.

It depends really...I don't see any of the warlords matching Akainu in strength, however Mihawk might be able to beat Kizaru, can't really say for the other Admiral as we haven't seen the full extent of his power.

However none of the other warlords, other than Mihawk could possibly rival an admiral though and before people claim Doflamingo could please he legged it from Aokiji.

Anyway I agree with the person who said they are between Vice Admiral and Admiral level.

Doflamingo - I see him below Admiral so High VA
Boa Hancock - High VA
Law - Mid/High VA
Kuma - Low/Mid VA(Although he had a hax fruit he can't get far without haki.)
Buggy - lol don't think this dude will ever become powerful. Probably around weakling trio level

Remember in marine-ford? He was laughing having a great time and even stopped Diamond Jozu with just a single motion. I'd say hes admiral level or at least close to it.

If that's the case I guess they're screwed. Unless DD fights the admiral since I assume that's in Law's plan.

This. Only 1 of the 7 Shichibukai mihawk is on the same level as an admiral.


People is underestimating Hancock so much, she has great hype on her side that easily put her on the high end of high tiers(3rd strongest Shichibukai).
