The moment your favorite character became your favorite?

What was the moment/s was/were the one/s made you think that a character is your favorite? Mange scans or explainations plz...
My favorite is Lee; and i started to really like him as a character when i saw he did this to Sasuke:

Then i thought this was pure badass:

Then all the fight and flashbacks added up...Then this happened and i shed some tears after i "learned" that he can not become a ninja...i do not cry over fictional stuff; but dat moment was just heart-breaking.

Sai (my old favourite) became my favourite the second he was introduced. Insulting Sakura and Naruto to their face and calling Sasuke a traitorous cockroach was awesome. I fell in love with him as he was telling the characters things i'd wanted to tell them for years.

Kabuto became my favourite ninja today when we saw his snake cloak design.
