I take it this is Hiruzen as we saw him? In any case, he possesses some underwhelming feats and i'd back Tsunade for the win in this particular circumstance. I'm aware of Sarutobi's hype in relation to the other Kage of his generation, but this doesn't necessarily tell us how well he compares with his former student. I don't know how long the old man can be expected to outmanoeuvre her (though you haven't mentioned knwoledge, midset or location, which isn't helpful), but he will eventually tire and succumb to fatigue. Offensively, he hasn't the Jutsu to overcome her Byakugō and it remains to be seen how useful Enma would be in trying to nullify the effects of her monstrous strength. Tsunade takes it unless Hiruzen can salvage a draw via Shiki Fūjin.

By hype he was called God of Shinobi during his times and Orochimaru and Enma stated Hiruzen would have destroyed Oro in his prime. Seeing as how Hiruzen was trained by Hashirama and Tobirama Senju and was chosen as Hokage at a very young age, coupled with his knowledge of Tsunade and his hype, he should beat her.
Also, databook puts Old Hiruzen at 34, lacking speed, strength, stamina ( 3/5, the rest being 5/5 ) which are all age-relying stats.

As i've said, i'm well aware of the hype Hiruzen was given (both the valid and the invalid) but i'm simply comparing feats between the two.
Hype is always valid until proven wrong. But let's not get into that. We're talking Tsunade and Hiruzen, not Hiruzen and... Never mind.
Anyway, I agree with your first post although I'm sure Hiruzen would be able to get her under RDS.

Anyway, I agree with your first post although I'm sure Hiruzen would be able to get her under RDS.
And part of Hiruzen's hype was proven unreliable when other statements were made.

Why people always mention Hiruzen's hype is really beyond me. This is a VS thread, so I take it we're supposed to judge it based off their jutsu? By feats, Tsunade would wreck him. She's already tanked, or endured more than Hiruzen can hope to throw at her. She's been shown to withstand two Susano'o sword piercings, straight through her chest, not to mention tanking Madara's Katon which is vastly superior to that of Hiruzen's. His stamina is lacking in his old age too, which isn't exactly supporting his case. Enma is more or less useless when compared to Katsuyu, who has been shown to be immune to physical attacks, so I doubt he'd play much of a role. I too, take it that Tsunade won't have much trouble punching through Enma's diamond hard skin, she's knocked down Susano'o for crying out loud.

Anyway Hiruzen isn't getting Tsunade in RDS because it takes time for him to seal her completely and he has to hold her while staying still to do so. In the meanwhile Katsuyu would free Tsunade from Hiruzen's grip thereby killing Hiruzen.

By feats Tsunade takes this mid diff, Hiruzen's best shot is Reaper Death Seal and that will result in him dying as well but I don't think he will have the chance to use it.

Pretty easily. Based on what he's shown he wasn't worthy of the kage title.
And before I would have been content to say the power scaling was off, but with Kishi recently saying the recent Tobirama and Hashirama's power was so low was not because of powerscaling but because of an bad version of edo-tensei that argument is weakened.
It is further weakened by Tsunade being introduced shortly after that fight. And part 1 Tsunade can still beat him.
So until he shows more it is a stomp.

Hiruzen is one of my favorite characters i would never underrate him, but the fact is Tsunade won't even need Katsuyu :| she can tank anything he throws at her and surely doesn't have the stamina to keep up.
