I was never fooled or convinced he was bad, so I guess seeing him in that light doesn't click for me. lol I'm not upset, I'm just going by who his character truly is, not who he could be in a different version of the manga.

If we look at him in the way you are pointing out, I agree he would have probably been invincible and the most dangerous villain ever.

That's a great idea they are so much alike and Sasuke already has the EMS, so teaching him to use it's powers effectively would make Sasuke alot stronger than he is now.

lol no, I really just didn't buy it and I read/watched both. The subtle hints Kishimoto left in the manga didn't click with how Itachi was acting. I overanalyze stuff and read into things too much and sometimes I notice things that seem pointless to others.

I still have suspicions regarding Madara, too. Things don't seem quite right with his current portrayal either (not saying he's good, just something's off about him).
