Think about it, Itachi could've stolen Sausage's eyes and got EMS with relative ease! An infinite Totsuka blade and Yata Mirror with Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, kotoamatsukami, mind reading capabilities partnering with Foddera's somewhat good techniques- they'd be invincible! Also, Itachi would have easy access to the Hashirama Dna and obtain rinnegan.

i totally agree with this... Itachi had extreme potential and could've even became THE most powerful shinobi. If he truly was evil and wanted sasuke's eyes and seeked power i believe he couldv'e surpassed madara and hashirama. But no itachi sacrificed himself for a life in the shadows to protect his brother and villiage, like a true hero and shinobi and that is why i respect him as my favorite character not of his power

I was never fooled or convinced he was bad, so I guess seeing him in that light doesn't click for me. lol I'm not upset, I'm just going by who his character truly is, not who he could be in a different version of the manga.

If we look at him in the way you are pointing out, I agree he would have probably been invincible and the most dangerous villain ever.
