Gaara in desert vs itachi ( alive )

Please no fanboyism please i personally believe gaara wins high difficulties but i do agree if some one comes with valid points

Gaara did look into both Sasuke and Madara's eyes and that will get him killed against Itachi.

Totsuka can also go through sand as far as I know.

However, if Gaara has a moment of brilliance and instead of looking into his eyes or standing still he takes to the skies and begins assaulting Itachi with sand torrents, he could win.

Good point but Itachi was sick and hes low on chakra how do think.he can maintain susanoo and since gaara is kage and leaf n suna are allies he probly n most likely know abt itachis genjutsu abilities he could hide inside sand just like he did aganist deidara

garra has the advantage because he is in the dessert, also anything can crack the susanoos ribs, as far as what i have seen in the manga, and garra fully dragged out madara out of his susanoo, he can do the same to itachi. Garra wins mid diff because of his advantage, which is the dessert. If it was anywhere else but the desert, then garra could either win high diff or they both kill each other

Primarily Gaara has no knowledge of the inner working of Itachi's Tsukuyomi and desert or not he is still opened to the genjutsu, or any genjutsu for that matter. Being that it manipulates chakra flow to the brain and can be used via a 3 tomoe at the beginning of a fight; gaara would be unable to control his sand to produce something such as a 3rd eye or anything for that matter which leaves him nullified and itachi will make swift victory with totsuka.

the sand stops amaterasu..but if Itachi breaks out with a gen..witch is called tsukiyomi..then i think it would be a rap..i mean then he pulls out the susanoo..with 3 legendary tools the totsuka blade..the yatta mirror witch can absorb any jutsu that garra throws at him..and then he has his sealing jar....and gaara does not have the tailed beast anymore...i think he would have his hands full..Itachi wins very easy diff in my opinion that is..Uchiha Inza

It could go either way, and as Gaara looked in Madara and Sasuke's eyes while fighting them he would possibly do the same too Itachi which could result in this match being over as Itachi could place him in a Tsukiyomi then use the Totsuka blade to seal Gaara. Or since it is in a desert Gaara has unlimited Sand and can overwhelm Itachi with sand and pull Itachi out of Susano'o and bury him in sand. But as I said it could go either way but whoever wins would win with high diff.

Gaara would most like know about Itachi's moves due to the leaf, but Itachi is very skilled at genjustu and if he gets Gaara with it hes finished, Gaara could try end quick with the whole place being a desert, but Susanoo would end it quick with Totsuka and wouldn't take damage, you just can't beat a skilled MS user

It depends. If Gaara knows everything about Itachi's abilities he will start with the 3rd eye and sand shield.

Both - Gaara high diff
Gaara only - Gaara mid- high diff

dusk crow illusion even with knowledge is hard to counter for gaara and amatarasu defeats gaara unless he has sand armour (sasuke kage submit used eton bullet not a proper ammy that appears on the target)

Gaara wins with and without desert,high difficulty.He can always create one on his own.
