Orochimaru: They died in war and their bodies were never retrieved...Shinobi are sent to battlefields, all for the sake of the village. They are sent to their deaths... I've witnessed so many of my comrades killed on missions.
What then, is the role of Shinobi, when we only serve as tools to protect this illusory "peace"?

Scene changes to battlefield. The Juubi roars but is still restrained.
Naruto: Unlike you, I will always cherish the bonds I've made. Even if they are dead... their will is still here with me! (Many Shinobi are seen arriving behind Naruto) Let's go! (The Shinobi, led by Naruto, charge towards Obito and Madara)
Madara: It seems you are still living in your dream world. *Forms hand seal* Katon! Gouka Mekkyaku!
Flames blast out at the Shinobi. Naruto dashes past the fire while the Shinobi counter the inferno with techniques like Hinata' Juuken and Kakashi's water techniques.
Naruto catches Madara off guard and hits him with a Rasengan which destroys his arm. Obito attempts to attack Naruto but is tackled by another Naruto; the former happened to be a Bunshin who then vanishes into smoke.
Naruto and Obito tumble down the back of the Juubi and they are isolated from the rest. Both of them stare face to face at each other.
Naruto: Now, it's just me and you.
Obito: ....
Naruto: I have one more question for you. Why did you attack Konoha with Kurama when I was born?!
Obito: *Smiles* You talk about bonds. You talk about you and your friends' will. The will of fire... It is nothing but just empty talk. *Closes his eyes* (Obito recalls he, Kakashi and Rin fighting on missions, and Rin dying at the hands of Kakashi)

Hashirama: ...(looks down and thinks)
Sasuke recalls his conversation with Orochimaru again.
Sasuke: So, you attacked Konoha to avenge your parents?
Orochimaru: I've long forgotten about them. *Smirks* I guess, my attack on Konoha...
Obito: *Opens his eyes* My plan to destroy Konoha back then...
Both Orochimaru and Obito: Was for the misery it brought on us!
Sasuke: ....
