Hashirama even took the credit of the village for himself that proves my point! The Senju Clan is a bunch of self-conceited individuals that enjoy being tyrants.

No Guy your dead wrong Hashirama knew that Madara would not give up on trying to destroy the village so he had to put a end to him and his new goal also Hashirama took credit where it was due because considering Madara was trying to destroy the Leaf it was not only a slap in the face to both of them but giving up on a treasured dream and in that Hashirama had to make the village his own. But as far as the Senju being conceited you do realize that if they were conceited then there would have been a third Senju Hokage or they would have made it so that only a Senju could have been Hokage, but instead a Sarutobi. stop Zzz

Great Chapter, the flashback is finally over but it was definitely needed. It answered the question to exactly how Konoha was founded and Hashirama and Madara's relationship was and how he came to hate the village. I feel like a portion of it was Tobirama's doing because his fear of Madara and the Uchiha, but to come to conclusion I'm still have no idea to what Sasuke is going to do. He's so unstable he could go either way and even after Itachi came back and fought and defeated Kabuto and had that brother to brother conversation, Sasuke still had a desire to destroy the village, he was unsure of himself hence the reason why he brought back Orochimaru and got him to unseal the Kages. But it was still a very viable option. I guess we will just have to wait until next week and we will see. Ready to see some current action now too lol ready to see the final stage of the Juubi, I think the final stage the Juubi will have a conscious of its own and Madara and Tobi won't be able to maintain control of it anymore.

As for the guys that are disappointed with the ending to the last Chap (Madara getting duped by the Wood Clone); that for me was fitting to what a shinobi is. Madara always considered Hashi to be an honest/innocent minded person. The last thing he thought Hashi would ever do was to play dirty. That is why it took him by surprise and he saw the sacrifice Hashi made (his principles) and he commented by saying "You have changed"..... Sorry Madara fans but that was pure genius and a cool was to express Hashi's grit.

Hmmm, I have a feeling that Sasuke's resolve to destroy Naruto and Konoha will only get stronger. The boy is twisted like that. Even after meeting Itachi he wanted to destroy the village.

I'm also confused at why Madara kept attacking Konoha. Why did he do it?

Somehow Naruto and Sauske have to fight. I think that's inevitable even though I don't know how it's going to happen. But if Sauske does want to destroy the village, how the hell can he do that? Hasirama beat the hell out of Madara who's stronger than Sauske so what chance would Sauske have against him, let alone the 4 Hokages? None, so he needs to squash that line of thinking.

So madara knew all along it was a mokubunshin and he made believe hashi that he couldn't see his mokubunshin and faked his death by using izanagi. But how he managed that we will be explained by sasuke imo. So another flashback for that next week but I don't care.

I actually thouht it was a fitting way to end the fight. Think about it, after a tiresome battle of large scale attacks like susanoo and wood dragon, something as simple as a clone fooled one of the strongest shinobi in histoty. Just goes to show that stealth and deceit, which are the basic skills of a ninja, should never be underestimated or forgotten.
Madara probably never saw it coming.

when does it says hashi read the uchica stone? that was the first time he looked at it and madara told him the meaning of it. and if it proves that the uchiha are jerks then hes gonna know the village did it for a reason. right now hes on the uchiha side.
and if hashirama stabbed a sword through his body i really doubt he gonna try saving his life.

Someone obviously had to help him. Hashirama said he was sure that Madara died there but we know he didn't. Unless he used Izanagi or something and somehow found out a way to release the seal of his sharigan after using it.

hmm i think when hashimara jumped down from his wooden summon, madara used his sharingan on him, and on the next page, there was a picture of a moon, i believe hashimara is in genjutsu.

Dude harshirama has already broken free didn't you read the manga? Oro said he's different and he can't control him... Then he later looked at oro and told him not to worry about those seals that he wants to chat up lil sasuke... Go back and re-read b4 the flash back and also I believe the second could break free and also minato could, reason is that tobirama was trying to use will power and chakara alone like hashi did but I guess his not harshi... And minato could know a lot of seals to reverse those. Just me thinking out loud there.

A fantastic chapter in its own right. I'm happy we are through with the FBs. However this chapter raises some concerns;

1. How did Madara escape death?

2. How did Madara lay hands on Hashi's DNA?

3. what be Sasuke's response?
.........Hope the next chapter gives us some answers.
