Why I Will Always Like Naruto as a Character

Naruto is a great character in the show, he doesn't give up and gives people second chances even when they don't deserve it.

A lof of Naruto-fans, wich is normal because he is a boss.

Naruto:
- Hard worker
- Great mentality
- Never gives up
- Jiraiya's student
- Incredibly strong
- Very loyal
- Very good friend
- Good taste in girls
- Hard youth, but still fought till where he is standing now = respect
- ...

Naruto is my favorite character in this manga because of these reasons. He is the boss, the hero the Narutoverse needs!

Ps2: @OP, in all those months I am active here, I have not see much hate against Naruto... In fact, Naruto is one of the most favorite characters here. Characters like Sakura, Sasuke, Madara, ... are the ones who get the most hate on this forum by far. I don't like hating btw.

Naruto is my boy!

I always loved his character, and even when things got a little pathetic (kage summit), I always felt he was an awesome individual. He has not had an easy ride, but has definitely made the best of his situation.

1. In latest massive Naruto-poll in Japan with more then 498 000 votes, Naruto ended first once again as most popular character.

2. The 'gay-jokes' are trollers or lame haters (just ignore them), you also find them with other manga's... ofc not to be taken seriously. Naruto is obviously no homo, he is hetero, in fact he is together with Lee the only rookie who actually showed numerous times interest in girls wich is healty, Lol. Naruto and Sasuke is just about bonds, friendship and brothership. Naruto is a very loyal and good friend, props and respect for that!

3. @Cosman, The Kage Summit Arc was not 'little pathetic'... Don't forget Naruto is only 16! He is just a kid still. So it was normal things became hard to carry... everyone was already relying on him too much... And a good hero is not a perfect hero (wich is boring), so Naruto as hero is good because he is believable and human!

For real? Is that in the latest volume or the manga itself? I remember the last poll was chapter 531. That's epic if that's the case, Naruto is certainly worthy of being on top!

Yep. And in the Narutopedia polls Naruto ended first too 6 times in the 11 polls so far (6 times Naruto, 2 times Kakashi, 2 times Jiraiya and 1 time Sasuke).

I read A LOT of mangas, and Naruto still is the best main character I've seen.

Naruto was a great character until kishimoto ruined what made this character good.
For me naruto its the worst main character I had seen in anime/manga.
