Kurama said it himself: 'that thing is nothing but evil.'
If he was part of the whole, he should know. If anything, there's more concrete proof to support that he is a mindless demon than otherwise.
Also prone to happen in the manga; exaggeration. Remember when Hiruzen was the 'god of shinobi'? And then it was Hashirama?
No character in this series can be trusted when they so casually toss around words such as 'god' so often. Them describing the juubi is so different. The word 'god' has never been literal in the manga.
Give me an example of a character in the series that had done something without purpose? none, even Kurama's attack on Konoha was initially displayed as a mindless feral creature's attack on a village, but hundreds of chapters later, we find out that a masked man was controlling the said creature with his doujutsu, or what about Orochimaru, even he was shown to have a motive/purpose on attacking Konoha, that he did not attack Konoha on a whim like he said, which Sasuke correctly deduced. The Juubi will be shown to have a reason for attacking humanity, it is a logical certainty.

I enjoyed the read.
Props where props is due sir. GJ
so the Juubi was a sentient being after all. I had always believed it lacked the capacity and was just a bringer of doom; by way of rampant ravaging of the land.
It just decided to go Old Testament.
Interesting.
A very good theory,
but i don't think nagato deciphered the naka shrine because he need to have sharingan to open that 3t-stone .

Rinnegan is evolved from sharingan, yet it can't use all the doujutsu such as amaterasu/tsukiyomi/susano.I believe the Rinnegan could possibly open the Shrine. The Rinnegan after all is an evolved Sharingan.

If we would have been talking about madara i would have agreed because he can use sharingan doujutsu as well, but this doesn't seem to be the case for nagato.
Its possible that obito helped him though .

Good eye for detail.
Everyone has been complaining about these hashirama and madara flashbacks but you did an impeccable job showing just how important this info is to the development of the story itself. Its very likely that after having attempted and failed to achieve peace via the sage path, a corrupted interpretation of the naka tablet would be born.
Excellent informative theory! No less than I've come to expect from the only resident savant with a balanced viewpoint!
Gods tend to have a consciousness beyond human understanding which is why the juubi maybe considered evil and lacking intelligence
