Hm. Interesting. Well, I was born and raised at the American Embassy in South Africa. My powers were exploited for business... water is scarce there, you can imagine. I was seen as a necessity, yet was treated as an outcast at the same time... I've seen a lot of things throughout my life... War... Poverty... Suffering... *Cedric's thoughts drift off as he continues walking with Kaia*

"C-Cedric?" She looks at him.as he spaces out.

 

[Souji]

*Cedric snaps out of it* woah... Sorry about that, Kaia! *laughs sheepishly*

*they continue walking* we both have interesting stories and share things in common. I guess that's what makes friends. Heh, cliche but true.

Kaia, what's your opinion on the state of mutant kind?

"My opinion? Well I'm kind of worried that the mutants as a whole will end up doing something incredible but at the same time will prove how dangerous the humans think we are. Overall I think we are doing pretty good but it could become a possible problem..."

 

[Souji]

...Do you think Magneto and his factions are right? That you and I are the natural evolution of humanity? That we should be proud of our heritage and exert our power and authority over non mutant kind? I personally think he's a little radical, but he makes a few good points...

"No...if we used our powers to take over others, that would just prove to the humans that we deserve to be either cured or dead..."

 

[Souji]

That's a good point... I just hope our kind gets the treatment we deserve, one day...

*they reach the outdoor garden/forum* ...wow. If Professor X did one thing right, it's hiring the architects and designers of this Academy. *Cedric admires the natural scenery, flower gardens, etc*

*Dante follows them.*

Kaia waves at Dante. "Everyone has an odd story but it seems like each one doesn't end that bad. We all end up here." She smiles and marvels at the scenery.

*Cedric walks around the garden. He strains himself to sit on a bench, using his crutch as support. He sits back, looking up at the sky, taking a deep breath of fresh air, and relaxes, feeling content*

Kaia sits by Cedric and looks at him. "You ok?"

 

[Souji]

Yeah, I'm fine, Kaia. So have you managed to attend any classes lately? I feel like we're all on vacation right now, heh...

 

[Megamkfan]

*Dante sits on the bench next to Kaia.*

"Heh heh, yea. I came later on in the school year so I never got my schedule."

"I went to one class but all I did in it was study...." Kaia suddenly feels really drowsy and starts swaying. "Ugh..."

 

[Megamkfan]

"Hmmm. Kaia what's wrong."

*Dante catches Kaia and keeps her steady.*

"Kaia?"

 

[Souji]

Woah, Kaia, are you alright? Got her, Dante?

"I....I don't know....." Kaia feels light-headed and as if she is going to pass out. "Ah...." She passes out.
