[Discussion] Orochimaru better Villain than Madara ideology wise

I completely agree with this, Did you see Orochimaru's fight with the 4 tailed cloak naruto? When Naruto hit Orochimaru so hard that his back was broken and Oro spins around slowly popping it into place and SMILING!!!... you cant tell me that wasnt the creepiest thing youve ever seen.

Madara is a great main character, but as far as being a villian he falls short on many levels, one of them being the fact that he has been dead most of the time living his recruit to do all his work.. I mean what kind of villian wants world peace... you gotta be able to hate your villians.. and I dont hate Madara.

He is about as good a villian as Kurama...

Besides Madara's plan is to become god via genjutsu, not peace....but I suppose it's the same thing from his perspective.

Yeah I think Orochimaru will be the final villain here since it will be epic ending because series started with Oro as villain and will end with him as last man standing of all the villains. And one more thing I wanted to mention is Itachi's mentor was Obito

Oro is not a better villain, rather, he is a villain whose intentions are easily identified as being "purely evil".

On the other hand Madara is a villain with shades of gray.

Is a straight-forward purely evil villain "better" just because it absolves you from having to think?

I have put a lot of thought into it.... Also I like villains who are more complex than the stereyotypical 1 D villains.... But Madara is more of an emo than a villain....

I am not comparing both of them power wise.... I am comparing them ideology wise....​

Orochimaru

1.Wanted immortality.
2.Wanted to learn all the possible jutsus.
3.Abducted and experimented on many people,Killing Them.
4.Created camps where he could keep his experimented people as slaves.
5.Doesn't give a damn about world peace and wars as he used Hidden Sand to Attack Konoha. Though they later became strong allies.
6.He represents a snake.And Snake is Man greatest enemy among all animals.

You may say Oro had some good reason for attacking Konoha and that he cried for Konoha but he still is very much more evil than Madara is ideology wise....
You may think why he is helping Sasuke but come on guys we all know Oro is a snake who'll show his fangs to Sasuke soon....

Madara

1.Wanted Peace in childhood.... Left the village....
2.Now there are rumors that he is doing all this for world peace.... He is Itachi's mentor....
3.Believes that a Genjutsu can be the only way for world peace....
4.Wants to have world peace but is the reason of numerous deaths....
5.Neither evil nor good.... Unclear ideology....

I really like Madara as a Shinobi.... He is badass and strong.... Still as a villain I feel Oro is better cause he has that creepines about him and his snake like aura.... Madara's idelogy and purpose behind all his doings is still unclear but he doesn't seem to be that evil villain to me.... He is a 2 Dimensional character who is shown to be both good and bad but his ideology is not as awesome as his powers are....
Oro became a villain for personal reasons like immortality unlike Madara whose reasons won't be so devilish as he is a 2 Dimensional character....

That's just my opinion.... What do you guys have to say.... Which one of the two is a better villain....

madara is boss and is infact a worthy villain but orochimaru is on a whole diff level of evilness

remember from part 1 whenevr orochimaru was around there was a creepy feeling . the background music was truly amazing

Oro was initially shown as "evil", as a "monster", but like every major villain, that is only the outer impression.

Most people still haven't realized Oro isn't a villain anymore, he is actually on the highway to become a semi-good character, as in helping out the good side against the great world-threatening enemy, evident by him stating he doesn't want to destroy Konoha anymore and that they have to hurry to stop Madara, who wants to destroy the shinobi world as it is.
