Senju DNA isn't required to cast Iznagi, Edo Itachi (without Senju DNA) used Izanami on kabuto. Izanagi and Izanami are almost the same thing with the side effect of losing one's eye sight. Danzo only needed the Senju DNA so he could cast Izanagi multiple times with the Sharingan he had on his arm.

I hate repeating this but Obito said you need both to cast Izanagi

What thehell are you talking about, first of all madara was dead at that spot. He fell to the gound he did not have any more enrgy to get up at get hashi cell or DNA. And second of all madara was reanimated because he was dead and dead person only can be reanimated. I rest my case.

You missed the point, I am not saying madara didn't die eventually, He did but it wasn't immediately,am just speculating, Remember Madara said only Hashi could heal himself without using seals, his body could heal any degree of injury. I just think Madara used Hashi cells to heal himself and when he did it made him live longer.

Guys this chapter was messed up:

Hashirama even took the credit of the village for himself that proves my point! The Senju Clan is a bunch of self-conceited individuals that enjoy being tyrants.

That's one hell of interpretation you're giving there, putting it plain and simple he meant that the bond between him and madara and the village was broken and he was ready to let madara go by killing him that's why the "our the my" came in it means he has given up on madara and also as the head of the village the hokage the village is his family and he is the father no clan discrimination. Hope it clear things up a little.

Well i didn't see Hashirama healing his arm in that battle :s To word it better: He could heal an injury IF he has any chakra left

Meh, it was alright at least we finally got outta the damn flashbacks haha!!

What i enjoyed

- That Hashirama going all " I don't give a f*ck who you are, i will f*ck you up if you mess with the Hidden Leaf !! Epic moment!!
- Seeing fighting between Hashirama and Madara . ( Now this is what i call a real shinobi fight lol )
- Flashback ending
- Apolgosing to Sasuke for his partly to blame with what happened with the uchiha including itachi. ( That's right b*tch , apologise to the uchiha's!! hahaha )

What i didn't enjoy

- The fact, that Madara got tricked by a wood clone ( Comeon Lord-Madara-san!!! )
- Madara dying

OMG, DID YOU SEE LORD MADARA IN THE OPENING SONG?? HE LOOKED EPIC!!

Overall, i give this chapter a 4/5

well, Hashirama did what he had to do because Madara has turned completely against him and the leaf village.
It's not him being a tyrant, he was protecting the village from him, and most likely protecting himself.

No, they both are the founders, he may have chosen a different road, that doesn't let Hashi claim that peace was through his sole effort alone.

Though I wonder, if Naruto would ever take the choice of killing Sasuke.

Hashi and Madara built the village together but Madara disappeared shortly after and started trying to destroy the village. Madara didn't bring peace to the village. It wasn't his village anymore it was hashis and I bet that's how the villagers would have felt too

Dude, it was a giant fight that created a giant valley giant enough to put 2 gigantic statues in it. Hashirama never got cut by one of madaras weapons? Remember it kinda jumped us in halfway through the fight too.

People on this forum have this mindset of "if kishi didn't say it, it didn't happen". Well try connecting the dots a little bit. Big fight with swords, knives, scythes, etc. everyone's getting a cut at some point and blood = DNA

Overall I was just happy to see this flashback end. It was needed, but it simply went on for too dang long. :|
I rated this a 5 just for that.
As for the next chapter... Psh, beats me. I hope they get back to fighting, but I sense that there's going to be some arguing involving, but certainly not limited to... Sasuke. Unless he just turns around, and walks away, like he actually knows what he's going to do. Can't really say where Kishi is going to go with that either...

You saw through the way Madara escaped his death. I most commend you on this analysis. While madara was battling the 5 kages, he used it against Tsunade and he said this was the jutsu that only his eyes could use. It means he placed Hashirama under a very powerful Genjutsu that almost seems real such that his opponent can still perform but the opponent can't figure out what's going on. Madara place the Genjutsu immediately hashirama's wood monk captured the kyuubi (madara EMS was shown activated against hashirama) . I guess Madara had the chance to kill hashirama but his Dream was beyond killing hashirama. In essence, MADARA FOOLED HASHIRAMA !

A possibility. but you're forgetting madara confessed escaping with a fatal wound( he told obito he barely survived tht battle) which i suppose is the impalement

Awesome chapter and we got to see what happened and what created the valley of the end..But i disagree with your comment as u see he first said Our village and then refrained from it due to Madara's actions towards the village hence why he said My village since he is the Hokage..Get real don't misconstrue what Madara tried to do with what Hashirama was saying which is true he is the Hokage it's his village now. Madara refused the tittle to even be second and left and it wasn't his choice it was the fire nations decision..smh already trying to stir sh.t up

Plus in the fight against the five Kages in a Onoki flashback you can see Madara while he was still part of the leaf telling him to obay the leaf by force Madara got twisted after his brother died he was already doing bad things while he was with the leaf
