I just got done reading a thread where someone said that Shima was in the top 10 because she can summon Naruto and Jiraya. Also Kabuto is pretty much invincible with his 37 edos but he said that Hashirama was the strongest and I highly doubt he means Hashirama can beat all of those edos, so it stands to reason that he dosen't consider Edo Tensei his power. The panel where Kabuto said that his edos is part of his power could just be interpreted as him being a show-off. Naruto after the VOTE still thought that he wasn't strong enough to save Sasuke even though he has Gamabunta which could definitely beat Sasuke so that proves that he dosen't think Gamabunta is his power, that's probadly why he didn't summon him aganist Sasuke he wanted to fight Sasuke alone. Summoning isn't an external power, so wouldn't it count as outside help? Edo Madara said that Kabuto didn't create this power and Kabuto said when he summoned Madara "show me your power" instead of saying "show me MY power". It dosen't really seem fair if you have to summon someone else to be top tier so yeah that's why I dont think summonings should count in versus matches.

If people count wood god , then yes it's fair
Cause wood god is an op summon . Also why wouldn't it count . Are you telling me that spending time training for summoning makes it dumb?

Edo Tensei uses the wielder's chakra to control them, however, the techniques, chakra usage, mind, and stamina are NOT. This is akin to using your chakra to summon creatures to do your bidding; you are summoning the dead to do your bidding. Yeah, you use your chakra to summon them, but from that point on, whatever happens next is all up to their individual strength (and your binding of their mind). Edo Tensei should not be considered your own power, because it simply isn't.

It's their powers but people say it's not to rob them of their power on their top ten list. It's better than sealing dna and eyes don't you agree

Wood God comes from within, and uses a truckload of chakra to bring it into essence; it is not its own strength.

If the person/thing summoned is helping you forced or willingly then they are lending you their power, which is now your power since that power is being used to help you

No...In a sense yes..But its power only by way of control.... Say kabuto for instance...The extent of his strength is DSM. The extent of his power is Edo Tensei. get it? Control is a form of power....All is fair in love and war. It should never be considered soloing if you summon another ninja to help, but it does count as a win

Sage art:wood style: true thousand hands technique is purely a construct made of wood..its not a summon
