They are in character and aiming to defeat the other not kill and lee can use gates. Jiraiya can use SM however without toads how does he do this?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but unless Jiraiya starts in SM Lee wins this.

Without toads Jiraiya loses a ton of abilities as well as the ability to maintain Sage Mode - or even use it.

I had to think carefully about this match up because he did pretty well against konan in base but this is lee

No toads mean no sm and a host of jutsus gone,as his jutsus like oro,revolve around his summons. He gets beaten if he goes close up,oil,fire balls and rasengans arent hitting lee,if lee goes gates,it's over,so lee wins in this matchup

Jiraiya will not be able to go Sage Mode because he can't summon Shima and Fukasaku but i still think he wins. Defensive jutsu such as the shield of hair and barriers mean Jiraiya can protect against his taijutsu. Plus his Fire jutsu, Lion Mane technique etc, and if he traps him in the swamp Jiraiya wins.

nah,j-man cant ake as much oil as bunta,and splitting his chakra in half ould only teduce the amount.

He cant enter sm alone,he cudnt properly balance the chakra himself which is why he needed the toads to help him.

If lee goes 5 gates,i think he can destroy that hair shield,or he could just wait out the jutsu,j-man can't keep it up forever

He doesn't necessarily need to attack jiraiya he can attack the ground beneath him becuase to go SM he has to be completely still
