Error in the latest manga

A while back (not sure what chapter) but didnt Madara say that he could tell the difference of clones and the real person same as sasuke said during he's fight wit naruto? And in the manga today he thought he beat hash but it wasn't a clone why didnt he see that it was a clone?

It was also said in the manga (by Madara) that Hashiramas clones are perfected. That they are like a living thing, you can't track the real one. And he had Sharingan off.

Just because he can see them doesn't mean he isn't immune to miscalculations/mistakes also the fact that shit sometimes just doesn't go you way.Besides madara didn't even have his sharingan on.

i assume the same reason zetsu clones cant be noticed they are made from hashirama's dna arnt they so i assume it is the same reason or tech

Plot no jutsu. Kishi couldnt think of a way to beat madara, so he made him drop EMS and get cocky
