When I look back in the flashbacks, I see Naruto and Sasuke in that same position now. Does anyone agree?

Well, that would be obvious, would it not?
That was the whole point of fighting in that waterfall, from the very beginning?

The only difference is Sasuke came out victorious because Hashirama was willing to kill Madara.
Naruto was not willing to kill Sasuke.

That also creates an effect. Maybe Kishi is not as stupid as i thought he was.

No...
Hashi was pursuing Madara for a better cause... and they were always together either fighting or being friends...

Naruto is pursuing Sasuke for no authentic reason just for fun, I guess... And seemingly, a distanced love...

The question is, if Naruto is so determined to change fate and destiny, can he prevent history from repeating? Also, Sasuke's decision will probably hint to where this is leading. Too bad it was cut short. I rarely lose patience waiting for the next chapter, but now I am anxious!

When Hashirama killed Madara (or thought he did at least) that's where the comparison ends. Naruto is not willing to sacrifice Sasuke for the hidden leaf, and I think that's how Naruto will break the cycle of hatred, IMO.

Very similar to my thoughts. There is no doubt the cycle has to end without death. I know death is the heroic and tragic way to go, but it seems like all of this has added up to having Naruto do the opposite of all who he parallels.
