i like arcs where there are only a handful of powerful characters , with hints towards lots of different potential storylines
marineford arc was boss , but i prefer this one because it is funnier and luffy is one of the strongest around

Not already, but I have the feeling it will surpass most arcs within a couple of chapters. As I've said a few times before, this arc might turn out to become as good as the Enies Lobby arc.

Bellamy is below Luffy to begin with , Cavendish we are unsure of ,but the bounty is lower than pre timeskip Luffy's , so i am gonna asume he is also bellow Luffy , we have no justification on Rebecca's power and nothing to base Burgess' power on either , from where i see it there are only two people that can challenge Luffy for the fruit (Burgess and Rebecca , but i doubt Rebecca will be much stronger than Bellamy , but we cannot judge that yet) , i wanna see the blind guy (probably Fujitora) vs Donflamingo , that would be amazing! and a fight between Luffy and Burgess would show us how far Luffy has come and how he rates against a yonkou's big time fleet commander

It was funny and at the end... quite a surprise. Finally someone that we actually know in the tournament that might pose a threat.

Well then, I squeaked so much I don't have much to add, so I'll just go on to predictions xD

1. Caribou is in the Country of Flowers, land of the Chinjao Family. I say this because of the "18" on his shoulders, same as the "13" on Xai's belly and the "12" on Don Chinjao's head. Neither one of them will win, but they will be on Lucy's block. They'll be defeated by Lucy, get a grudge on him, return to their country to see Caribou as the leader of the Rebellion, and eventually, in a surely comical way, join forces.

2. Block B will have a few members or renown, such as, maybe, the King of Prodence and Dagama, and their rivals, the Funk Brothers. It will all be set for these big names to win, but the one who wins will be unexpected. I don't know if the old blind man will participate (I won't call him Fujitora, I think Fuijora is Magellan). If he does, he will win block B. If he doesn't, Bartolomeo, the rookie with a few loose screws will.

3. Bellamy will be in Lucy's block. He will show his new strength and defeat a whole bunch of people, in great praise by the public, but will be one-shotted once again by Lucy. Lucy will win his block. (He won't use Conqueror's Haki)

4. Rebbeca will defeat the Cavendish, in block D, different from Lucy. She will win against him easily, much to his surprise, but she will not win that round. Luffy won his block, and would be cheering for her. The winner of block D will be Donquixote DoFlamingo, and Rebbeca, being the last opponent, will try all her might to defeat him, but fail to do so. It will catch Luffy's eye and they will become friends.

I think mostly everyone said everything that needed to be said.


I just want to add to the blind guy and the Kyros theory. It is a strong possibility that he may be the guy we saw gambling and put a huge hole in the ground. Now what if Rebecca was Kyros' daughter or granddaughter and she's trying to follow in his foot steps. That would make for an interesting twist.

Also, as much as everyone wants more eye candy in the Strawhat's crew, I doubt Rebecca will be the newest member. The way I look for who will be the newest member is, they all follow a distinct pattern. Everyone on of them had a messed up childhood and would be scared for life if they were a normal person(Brook being the exception because it was when he died that was the traumatizing part). Rebecca doesn't strike me as being someone who would have a messed up childhood flashback. She seems to have it all together. Look for new members who seem to have the potential to have a messed up flashback.
Note: Don't take my last paragraph too seriously, it has a hint of sarcasm and truth mixed into it.

Well, her reaction to the Spartan seemed quite enigmatic to me, as well as her admiration to the statue. There is more to Rebecca than meets the eye.

Hum, yeah, but I don't know.

And yes. The way I see it, the tournament was made so that the Doflamingo stars were supposed to be in each block and win all, so that the fruit stays in the family. But Jesus Burguess won the first. Another one will win the second and Lucy will win the third. Having three of his 4 men defeated, Doflaming will act rashly and join the fourth, maybe even after the battle started, killing the fourth member and claiming to be substituting for him. He will then end up defeating Rebecca. He will defeat, not kill her, because Lucy will intercept the combat in her favor, revealing his identity and making Doflaming stop. He won't force him to stop, Doflaming will just take notice of him and, seeing as they all won a block, he will end up fighting Luffy, so why not give the public the show they want. The final will then be him vs Doflamingo.

Alright build-up chapter.

Things i enjoyed

- It was a great build-up for the fights to come by showing their orignality and potential stregth
- We got to see the New World seems to also run by politics sorta. hmm Like even a king and his subordinate had entered in order to get Ace's fruit to topple other kingdoms...
- The contestats shown were not weak looking. All had strong biceps lol. Was it just me or did one of them remind you of "Wet haired Carribou ?
- Haha luffy looked awesome in that armor, too bad he had to take it off !!
- Wow Bellamy didn't die after all. Hopefully we see why his bounty rose to 100 Million Beri!!!
- Haha And Burgess from the BlackBeard Pirates, no surprise there. I had predicted something like this would happen in a thread .
Things i disliked

- It didn't have any scenes with the others...
- When luffy told everyone his real name...I thought shit was gonna get real but then the pirates read his name and said nah thats not the real "straw hat luffy" ...Like srsly??? Their like the dumbass pirates following Buggy!!

It's pretty much said about any new character they might be joining the Strawhat crew. Women got an edge though to keep the balance in the crew.
