Madara = Hashirama and the only reason he lost was because him being cocky.

Just like Tobi's paths or Naruto's toad summoning ability.

Lol you misunderstood me. I did say that Hashirama isn't weaker, I'm just saying he isn't stronger at the time either.

So you're suggesting as the manga stated Hashirama>Madara & Hashiram=Madara & Kurama or are you stating your own opinion that the battle was a very close one in a way that makes the gap between the two not as distant as everyone thought?

Madara couldn't sustain the sharingan any longer due to the prolonged usage and the use of large amounts of chakra, they both were obviously worn out, Madara more so than Hashirama as you can see from the recent chapter.

Hashirama beat Madara, fair and square. Even if he wasn't a wood clone, he was about to get up again. He could have also healed that wound whilst they were talking.

i don't think madara was being "cocky" i think he just lacked the chakra needed to have it activated i mean i'm sure using PS and Kurama use up a lot of chakra and they were both pretty beat and to their limit

He cant control them, sure you can summon a creature but if it doesnt like you then its not fighting for you. And we've seen how hashi's mokuton suppression works. It puts the bijuu to sleep, therefore if hashi could summon a bijuu he has no way of controlling it other than putting it to sleep.

yea but i feel madara still had enough chakra to use sharingan but used it to perform a genjutsu and ended up having no chakra.

i feel this way coz there must have been a way for him to survive and i can't name any characters that would have helped him , so for the time being i stich with my opinion

i love how people are trying to come up with there own reasons to how madara lost, show me where it was stated that madara got cocky as i dont recall hashi saying "you got to cocky" or madara say "damn got cocky" or something like that also madara was fighting hashirama the one shinobi he respects the most i doubt he would get cocky in the fight. is it so hard to except madara was exhausted from the fight so sharingan turns off also even if he did get cocky that still makes him inferior to hashirama as thats his weakness so i believe and manga proves hashirama is the stronger of the two maybe not by miles but he is the stronger one
