itachi.....why say kakashi?
kakashi has lots of partners whenever he fights..
naruto is a great help, he uses shadow clones....everyone else kakashi teams up with...
Itachi never has the amount of help.......he mostly does it on his own..

comparing Kakashi and Itachi in intelect is the same as compare Porshe(Kakashi) with Condom(Itachi) many have chosen safer side.......
In inteligence Kakashi can surpas enyone except Shikamaru
Everyone Just read Manga It's Stated that hes Smart as hell Ciojis father in Pain atc and even Pain told Kakashi in a long run can cous much truble....

Itachi had Kage-level thoughts at age 7...Kakashi was a jonin at age 7 (I think). So Itachi is more intelligent, but Kakashi is probably just a little bit more effective in battle due to experience, having been in enough fights to copy over 1000 jutsu

Yeah I agree with this haha. It is also manga fact that Hiruzen said that Itachi was thinking like a Kage at age 7
Itachi is both smart and skilled, seeing as he's a natural born prodigy and also assassinated the entire Uchiha clan in one night, which requires a lot of planning. Also he is a master Genjutsu user which requires an intelligent mind and near genius level intellect. Your becoming like a broken record, stating Kakashi's intelligence over and over again. Intelligence can only get you so far in the Naruto world and Itachi has both skill and intelligence in spades. The Naruto wiki states

I love Kakashi's character but it Itachi hands down. Hes the most Overrated Underrated Ninja in all of Naruto I think. But thats what makes him such an amazing character.
As i told before Rearead Manga plz becous You still dont get that Kakashi at his very yong age had surpased Itachi by far in inteligence.....This thread is about Intelect right not about Power......strength and Power does not show your intellect.As i remember Itachi Killed all clan who was unpreapared to fight And was just foders with Sharingun of just 3Tomue Max It's all was just massacre not Fight....(Its like stabing your brother in back with Knife while hes unpreapared and waching Porn)......

If that doesn't say Itachi is smart I don't know what will. Itachi's wisdom at age 7 was acknowledged to be on par with the Hokage by Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Professor, easily one of the most experienced and smartest ninjas in the Naruto world. If Itachi was that smart then, it's only normal he would become even MORE smart as time went by.

*Sigh* If Kakashi was so smart why would he let his genin continue the Wave mission even when he knew that they would probably be facing an A-rank nukenin later on?

Sasuke - One fire jutsu & high genin taijutsu
Even when he knew they were wet behind the ears genin with very little skills he still proceeded with the mission, instead of returning back to Konoha with Tazuna and allowing a more experienced team to undertake the mission. Kakashi seems like a lazy person who has his genius moments. Still Itachi is still smarter for me.

yes like finding the weakness of one of the greatest dojust (rennigan) sonething that konoha combined cound not contemplate during the pain invaision. doesn't make you smart
Define Intelligence? Some are saying that Itachi had thinking abilites like that of a kage but is it reasonable to say he surpassed kakashi in intelligence and thus he is better?. Kage skill =/= kage intelligence and as a person pointed above, kakashi has great analytical skills. He has progressed far. it is true i like kakashi more than itachi but im not gonna put itachi down. Personally, i would go kakashi. He's a freaking bad mofo since day 1.
